Václav Kotal
Václav Kotal (born 2 October 1952) is a Czech former football player and current manager, currently in charge of Viktoria Žižkov. As a player, he spent ten seasons at Sparta Prague, playing 168 matches in the Czechoslovak First League and winning two Czechoslovak Cups. He was announced as the new manager of Hradec Králové on 24 March 2009, replacing manager Oldřich Machala. In his first full season, the 2009–10 Czech 2. Liga, Kotal led Hradec Králové to the Czech 2. Liga title and therefore promotion to the top flight. In two seasons of the Czech First League, Hradec finished in 8th and 13th place. In 2012 Kotal moved to fellow Czech First League outfit FK Jablonec. He was sacked before the end of the 2012–13 season with the club lying in fifth place in the league after a 5–1 defeat against Slavia Prague. Náchod
Náchod (; german: Nachod) is a town in the Hradec Králové Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 19,000 inhabitants. It is known both as a tourist destination and centre of industry. The 2019–20 Czech Cup, known as the MOL Cup for sponsorship reasons, was the 27th season of the annual knockout football tournament of the Czech Republic. It began with the preliminary round on 26 July 2019 and concluded with the final on 1 July 2020. The Czech Cup ( cs, Pohár FAČR), officially known as the MOL Cup for sponsorship reasons, is the major men's football cup competition in the Czech Republic. It is organised by the Czech Football Association. The Czech Cup was first held in 1961. The winner would then face the winner of the Slovak Cup in the Czechoslovak Cup final. This competition was discontinued in 1993, after the dissolution of Czechoslovakia into two independent states (Czech Republic and Slovakia). The winner gains entry to the following season's UEFA Europa League.
