Vorë
Vorë ( sq-definite, Vora) is a municipality in Tirana County, central Albania. It was formed at the 2015 local government reform by the merger of the former municipalities Bërxullë, Prezë and Vorë, that became municipal units. The seat of the municipality is the town Vorë. The total population is 25,511 (2011 census), in a total area of 82.76 km2. The population of the former municipality at the 2011 census was 10,901. History According to a tradition, the name of Vorë comes from the Albanian word "vorre" (varre) that means "graveyard." According to that tradition, the name comes from the time of Skanderbeg, because there were buried the fallen soldiers at a war. There is a medieval castle in the constituent village of Prezë. Durrës ( , ; sq-definite, Durrësi) is the second most populous city of the Republic of Albania and seat of Durrës County and Durrës Municipality. It is located on a flat plain along the Albanian Adriatic Sea Coast between the mouths of the Erzen and Ishëm at the southeastern corner of the Adriatic Sea. The Albanian State Road 2 (SH2), ( Albanian: ''Rruga Shteterore 2'') is a dual carriageway in Albania linking the port city of Durrës with the metropolis and the capital Tirana. The road was the first highway to be reconstructed in Albania, following the Fall of Communism in 1991. Tirana ( , ; aln, Tirona) is the capital and largest city of Albania.
