Vorterøya
or is an island located in Skjervøy Municipality in Troms county, Norway. Vorterøya is located along the Lyngen fjord to the east of the island of Kågen and to the north of the island of Uløya. There are about 10 residents on the island who live there year-round. Many other residents live there in the summer months, but spend the winters elsewhere. Troms
Troms (; se, Romsa; fkv, Tromssa; fi, Tromssa) is a former county in northern Norway. On 1 January 2020 it was merged with the neighboring Finnmark county to create the new Troms og Finnmark county. This merger is expected to be reversed by the government resulting from the 2021 Norwegian parliamentary election. It bordered Finnmark county to the northeast and Nordland county in the southwest. Lyngen (fjord)
Lyngen (also known as , , or ) is a fjord in Troms og Finnmark county, Norway. The long fjord is the longest fjord in Troms and it is often used as the dividing line between "northern Troms" and "southern Troms". The fjord is located within the municipalities of Skjervøy, Nordreisa, Lyngen, Gáivuotna–Kåfjord, and Storfjord. It stretches from the village of Hatteng in Storfjord Municipality in the south all the way north to the islands of Skjervøy Municipality. The Lyngen Alps lie along the western shore of the fjord and the European route E06 highway runs along the eastern shore. The Kåfjorden branches off of the main fjord on the east side, and the southernmost part of the fjord is also known as the Storfjorden. Kågen
or is an island in Skjervøy Municipality in Troms og Finnmark county, Norway. The island lies between the Kvænangen fjord (to the east) and the Lyngen fjord to the west. The island is home to 27 inhabitants (2001). The island is mountainous with several peaks over above sea level. The highest point is the tall mountain ''Store Kågtind''. Kågen is the 52nd largest island in Norway. There is a ferry connection with the neighboring islands of Arnøya and Laukøya to the north, the Skjervøy Bridge connects to the island Skjervøya to the east, and the undersea Maursund Tunnel connects the island to the mainland to the south. Uløya
or is an island in Troms og Finnmark county, Norway. The island is situated on the east side of the Lyngen fjord and it is divided between Skjervøy and Nordreisa municipalities. The island has an area of , and the highest point is Blåtinden at . The population (2001) on the Skjervøy part of the island is 29, and the population (2001) on the Nordreisa part is 65. The two sides of the island are not connected by road. Uløya is the 56th largest island in Norway. All of the island of Uløya was originally in Skjervøy municipality, but in 1972 the southern part of the island was transferred to neighboring Nordreisa municipality.
