Voin Voinov
Voyn Yordanov Voynov ( bg, Войн Йорданов Войнов; born 7 September 1952) is a former Bulgarian footballer who played as a winger. Voynov started playing in 1972 and spent the whole of his career as a player in Levski Sofia until 1981. He played 226 games and scored 36 goals in A PFG all for Levski. He played a quarter final for the UEFA Cup in 1976 and for the Cup Winners' Cup in 1977. He played for the Bulgarian national team in 32 games and took part in World Cup tournament in 1974 with it. Voinov was known as a fast and technical player. He coached FC Iskar, Hebar Pazardzhik, Belasitsa Petrich, Rodopa Smolyan, Slivnishki geroi, Minyor Pernik, Akademik Sofia, Lokomotiv Mezdra, Bansko, Lyubimets, Rilski Sportist and currently Lokomotiv Plovdiv. 1973–76 Balkan Cup
The 1973–76 Balkan Cup was the 11th Balkan Cup football tournament. It was the first tournament played in a knockout system with semi-finals and finals. It was played between April 1973 and November 1976 between Turkey, Romania, Bulgaria and Greece. The tournament was won by Bulgaria over Romania via the away goal rule, the score being 3–3 in the two legs of the final. Bulgarian Cup
The Bulgarian Cup ( bg, Купа на България, Kupa na Bulgaria) is a Bulgarian annual football competition. It is the country's main cup competition and all officially registered Bulgarian football teams take part in it. The tournament's format is ''single-elimination'', with all matches being one-legged, except the semi-finals. The competition's winner gets the right to take part in the UEFA Europa Conference League. If the winner has already secured a place through the Bulgarian A Professional Football Group, the team that has come ''fourth'' in the championship substitutes it. The competition has been dominated by Sofia-based teams. The Sofia teams have won together a total number of 65 titles. FC Minyor ( bg, ФК Миньор) is a football club in Pernik, Bulgaria, that competes in the Second League, the second tier of Bulgarian football. Founded in 1919 as SC Krakra, the club's home ground since 1954 has been Stadion Minyor. The club's name comes from the fact that the area around the city of Pernik has had long traditions with mining and the mining industry. FC Rodopa (ФК Родопа) is a Bulgarian football club based in Smolyan, which currently plays in the South-East Third League, the third tier of Bulgarian football league system. The team was named after the Rhodope Mountains and plays its home matches at the local Stadion Septemvri. Rodopa’s traditional home kit consists of green and white. Rodopa was founded in 1927. FC Hebar ( bg, Футболен клуб Хебър) is a Bulgarian association football club based in Pazardzhik. The club currently competes in the First League, the first tier of the Bulgarian football league system. Founded in 1918, Hebar hss played at their current home ground, Georgi Benkovski Stadium, since 1989. The 1974 FIFA World Cup was the tenth FIFA World Cup, a quadrennial football tournament for men's senior national teams, and was played in West Germany (and West Berlin) between 13 June and 7 July. The tournament marked the first time that the current trophy, the FIFA World Cup Trophy, created by the Italian sculptor Silvio Gazzaniga, was awarded. The UEFA Cup Winners' Cup was a European football club competition contested annually by the winners of domestic cup competitions. The cup was, chronologically, the second seasonal inter-European club competition organised by UEFA.
