OFC Belasitsa ( bg, ОФК Беласица Петрич) is a Bulgarian football club from the town of Petrich, currently playing in the Second League. The team was founded in 1923. They play at the Stadion Tsar Samuil in Petrich, which has a capacity of 9,500. The club last played in the first tier of Bulgarian football during the 2008-09 season. History Founding and early years Belasitsa Petrich was founded in 1923 as FC Manush Voivoda. From 1957 the club was called DFS Belasitsa after the union of the local football clubs "Stroitel", "Cherveno zname", "Torpedo" and "Spartak", i.e. all the teams from Petrich. First promotion to the top tier In 1980, Belasitsa promoted to the A PFG for the first time ever. In its debut season in the Bulgarian elite in season 1980-81, the team finished in 13th place. Atanas Dimitrov ( bg, Атанас Димитров; born 17 April 1992) is a Bulgarian football midfielder who currently plays for Belasitsa Petrich. Dimitrov's father Nikolay Dimitrov is former football player, who spent 9 seasons of his career at Litex Lovech, before retiring at the age of 35 in 2005. Career Dimitrov began his football career with Litex Lovech. On 14 June 2011, he signed his first professional contract with Litex. One months later, Dimitrov signed for Botev Vratsa on a season-long loan deal. On 18 August 2016, following a short period out of football, Dimitrov joined Third League club Belasitsa Petrich where his father was appointed as manager. On 19 June 2017, he moved to Botev Vratsa. Atanas Chipilov ( bg, Атанас Чипилов; born 2 June 1987) is a Bulgarian footballer who plays as a winger for Vihren Sandanski. Career Youth career Chipilov started training his abilities at Levski Sofia's Youth Academy. He joined Dynamo Kyiv's youth side in 2004. Dynamo Kyiv Chipilov joined Dynamo's second team in 2004 and played in the Ukrainian First League for a few seasons. He was loaned to Bulgarian sides Botev Plovdiv and Chernomorets Burgas during 2007 and 2008. In 2009, Chipilov returned Dynamo Kyiv, where he played for the second team of Dynamo Kyiv. Regional Amateur Football Groups (Bulgaria)
The Bulgarian Regional Amateur Football Groups ( bg, Областни Аматьорски Футболни Групи, Oblastin Amat'orski Futbolni Grupi) are the 4th and 5th level of the Bulgarian football league system. There are 41 groups called A Regional Football Groups and 19 B Regional Football Groups. Teams from B RFG are promoted to A RFG and A RFG teams are promoted to Third Amateur Football League (Bulgaria), Third League. Competition format A RFG (or A OFG) has 28 regional geographically specified divisions, as some of the regions have more than one group. 28 teams are promoted to Third League at the end of every season. there are 9 B RFG (or B OFG) divisions registered for season 2015-16. The Bulgarian Second Professional Football League ( bg, Втора професионална футболна лига, Vtora Profesionalna Futbolna Liga), also known as Second League ( bg, Втора Лига) or Vtora liga, is the second level of the Bulgarian football league system, below First League and above the Third League.
