Vodiane, Pokrovsk Raion, Donetsk Oblast
Vodiane or Vodyane (Ukrainian: Водяне) is a small village located in Pokrovsk Raion, Donetsk Oblast. In 2001, the population was 319 persons and the elevation is 177m. Up until 2020, the village was part of the Yasynuvata Raion, until it was merged into the Pokrovsk Raion. History War in Donbas Since 2014, during the War in Donbas (2014–2022), war in Donbas, there have been hostilities in the vicinity of the village. Zymna Voda
Zymna Voda ( uk, Зимна Вода) is a village in Lviv Raion, Lviv Oblast, Ukraine. It hosts the administration of Zymna Voda rural hromada, one of the hromadas of Ukraine. History Zymna Voda was mentioned in 1427 as in Zympnewody. The village initially belonged to the Ruthenian Voivodeship of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth and was ethnically Polish as early as the Middle Ages. The names of the inhabitants were also predominantly Polish in the historical sources. Later, it was mentioned as Zymnawoda (1461), Zymna woda (1469), de Zimnawoda (1484), Zimnawoda (1578). The name is derived from the name of a local stream and means "cold water". During the First Partition of Poland in 1772, the village became part of the new Kingdom of Galicia and Lodomeria of the Habsburg Empire in 1804. Vodiane ( uk, Водяне; russian: link=no, Водяное) is a village ('' selo'') in Kupiansk Raion (district) in Kharkiv Oblast of eastern Ukraine, located east by south ( EbS) of the centre of Kharkiv city.
