Vlasta Neighborhood
Vlasta Neighborhood (in cs, link=no, Sídliště Vlasta) is a set of buildings in Prague 10-Vršovice, Czech Republic. It was constructed across from the Koh-i-noor factory between 1972 and 1977. There are residential buildings and the seat of the Municipality of Prague 10. The buildings were established as a quick fix solution following the Warsaw Pact invasion of Czechoslovakia in 1968 for residents of the evacuated city of Milovice Milovice (; german: Milowitz) is a town in Nymburk District in the Central Bohemian Region of the Czech Republic. Vršovice
Vršovice is a district of Prague. All of Vršovice lies within the Prague 10 administrative district. Vršovice is located south-east of the city centre. It borders Vinohrady to the north, Nusle to the south-west, Michle to the south and Strašnice to the east. The name is first mentioned in 1088 in the founding document of the Vyšehrad Chapter. In 1922 the district was incorporated into the city of Prague. It has 107 streets and 1,611 addresses and has about 38,700 inhabitants. A train station, Praha-Vršovice (formerly known as ''Nusle'', german: Nusl-Verschowitz), serves this part of the city. There is a shopping centre in Vršovice, called Eden and the Koh-i-Noor Waldes factory, which is a manufacturer of buttons and press-studs. Koh-i-Noor Hardtmuth a.s. is a Czech manufacturing company of stationery products, based in České Budějovice. Having been established in 1790, it is one of the oldest stationery companies in the world. The Warsaw Pact invasion of Czechoslovakia refers to the events of 20–21 August 1968, when the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic was jointly invaded by four Warsaw Pact countries: the Soviet Union, the Polish People's Republic, the People's Republic of Bulgaria and the Hungarian People's Republic. Milovice (; german: Milowitz) is a town in Nymburk District in the Central Bohemian Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 12,000 inhabitants.
