Vladimír Preclík
Vladimír Preclík (23 May 1929 – 3 April 2008) was a Czech writer and sculptor. He was a prominent member of the Czech arts and cultural worlds for several decades. Preclík was born on 23 May 1929 in the city of Hradec Králové in eastern Bohemia. He exhibited his sculptures internationally, including at the Expo 67 in Montreal, Canada, as part of the World Top 100 exhibition for sculptors. An art gallery is a room or a building in which visual art is displayed. In Western cultures from the mid-15th century, a gallery was any long, narrow covered passage along a wall, first used in the sense of a place for art in the 1590s. The long gallery in Elizabethan and Jacobean houses served many purposes including the display of art.
