Vivienne Spence-Gardner (born 22 January 1965) is a retired female sprinter from Jamaica, who mainly competed in the women's 100 metres during her career. Athletics is a group of sporting events that involves competitive running, jumping, throwing, and walking. The most common types of athletics competitions are track and field, road running, cross country running, and racewalking. Jamaica (; ) is an island country situated in the Caribbean Sea. Spanning in area, it is the third-largest island of the Greater Antilles and the Caribbean (after Cuba and Hispaniola).
