Vivian Zahl Olsen
Vivian Zahl Olsen (born 24 January 1942) is a Norwegian artist, graphic designer and illustrator. Vivian Zahl Olsen was educated at the Norwegian National Academy of Craft and Art Industry. She has contributed to several television series for the Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation, including ''Fru Pigalopp'', ''Flode'' and ''Puslespill''. She has also illustrated around seventy books, mostly for children. She was awarded the Jacob Prize (''Jacob-prisen'') in 1980. is the largest Norwegian biographical encyclopedia. The first edition (NBL1) was issued between 1921 and 1983, including 19 volumes and 5,100 articles. Knut Helle
Knut Helle (19 December 1930 – 27 June 2015) was a Norwegian historian. A professor at the University of Bergen from 1973 to 2000, he specialized in the late medieval history of Norway. He has contributed to several large works. Early life, education and marriage He was born in Larvik as the son of school inspector Hermann Olai Helle (1893–1973) and teacher Berta Marie Malm (1906–1991). He was the older brother of politician Ingvar Lars Helle. The family moved to Hetland when Knut Helle was seventeen years old. Odd Eidem (23 October 1913 – 10 June 1988) was a Norwegian writer, journalist and literary critic. Biography He was born in Kristiania (now Oslo), Norway. He was the eldest of three sons born to Gunnar Kølbel (1890–1963) and Dorothea Serine Eidem (1889–1940). His parents divorced during his youth. He grew up in Hamar and received his '' artium'' in 1931. He earned a master's degree in literature history at the University of Oslo in 1938. He debuted in 1939 as a fiction author. During the 1930s, he was an active member of the political movement Mot Dag. He worked as a secretary for Nansenhjelpen from 1938 to 1940. Hans Normann Dahl (7 October 1937 – 29 January 2019) was a Norwegian illustrator, painter and sculptor. Dahl was educated at the Norwegian National Academy of Craft and Art Industry from 1952 to 1957 and the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw from 1965 to 1966. Dahl made his debut at the Autumn Exhibition at Oslo in 1957. He delivered illustrations the newspaper ''Dagbladet'' from 1967 to 1988. Bjørg Vik
Bjørg Vik (11 September 1935 – 7 January 2018) was a Norwegian novelist, short story writer, playwright, and journalist. Biography Bjørg Turid Vik was born in Oslo, Norway. Her parents were Sverre Thorbjørn Johansen (1903–1958) and Anna Sofie Marcussen (1902–1987). She grew up in the neighborhood of St. Hanshaugen in Oslo. She completed her ''examen artium'' at Hegdehaugen School in 1954 and attended the Journalist Academy in Oslo from 1955 to 1956. From 1956 to 1960, she was a journalist for the newspaper '' Porsgrunns Dagblad''. She made her literary debut in 1963 with the short story collection ''Søndag ettermiddag''. Jahn Otto Johansen (3 May 1934 – 1 January 2018) was a Norwegian journalist, newspaper editor, foreign correspondent and non-fiction writer. He worked for the newspaper '' Morgenposten'' from 1956 to 1966, for the Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation (NRK) from 1966 to 1977, and was chief editor of ''Dagbladet'' from 1977 to 1984.
