Vivian Silver
Vivian Silver (; February 2, 1949 – October 7, 2023) was a Canadian-Israeli peace activist and women's rights activist. She was killed in the Be'eri massacre, a part of the 2023 Hamas-led attack on Israel. Early life and education Silver was born and raised in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. Silver first visited Israel in 1968, during her junior year of college. She studied abroad at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, where she studied psychology and English literature. Silver was also heavily involved in the North American Jewish Students Network, where she was the administrator of the Jewish Student Press Service. In this capacity, Silver began publishing articles about Israeli–Palestinian relations. In her senior year of college, Silver co-founded the Student Zionist Alliance on her campus and was subsequently invited to the Student Zionist Alliance national conference in Montreal that year. Project Rozana
Project Rozana is a non-profit based in Australia that aims to connect Palestinians in Gaza and the West Bank with appropriate medical training and healthcare, and by extension build connections between Palestinian and Israeli citizens. It was founded in 2013 by Hadassah Australia and their president, Ron Finkel. It is a member of the Alliance for Middle East Peace. Road To Recovery (charity)
Road to Recovery (Derech Hachlama בדרך להחלמה in Hebrew) is an Israeli charity that connects Israeli volunteers with Palestinians in need of transportation to doctor's appointments and other medical care within Israel. The group also assists in transporting Gazans to appointments in the West Bank. Although the Palestinian Authority covers the cost of some medical appointments, they do not cover transportation costs. As of 2023, the group was serving about 2,700 Palestinian patients each year. In addition to providing logistical assistance, the organization also serves to develop connections between individual Israelis and Palestinians.
