Vivek Shokeen (born 31 July 1987) is an Indian former professional tennis player. Shokeen, who held a junior world ranking of 26 in the world, represented India in a Davis Cup tie against Uzbekistan in 2007. He was beaten in both of his singles rubbers. Tennis is a racket sport that is played either individually against a single opponent ( singles) or between two teams of two players each ( doubles). The Davis Cup is the premier international team event in men's tennis. It is run by the International Tennis Federation (ITF) and is contested annually between teams from competing countries in a knock-out format. The 2007 Kingfisher Airlines Tennis Open was a tennis tournament played on outdoor hard courts. It was the 11th edition of the Kingfisher Airlines Tennis Open, and was part of the International Series of the 2007 ATP Tour. It took place at the Cricket Club of India in Mumbai, India, from September 24 through September 30, 2007. Purav Raja ( ; born 7 December 1985) is an Indian tennis player. He specializes in doubles and competes on the ATP World Tour. He has 2 ATP world tour level titles in men's doubles.
