Visuttharangsi School ( th, โรงเรียนวิสุทธรังษี, pronounced , abbr. V.S.) (known colloquially as Visut) is a public school in Thailand. This school belongs to the Kanchanaburi Education Service Area Office 1, Office of the Basic Education Commission (OBEC), Ministry of Education. The school provides preparatory school for college and university from grades 7 through 12. It admits both Thai and International students equivalent to the secondary students (mathayom 1–3, equivalent to grades 7–9) and upper-secondary students (mathayom 4–6, equivalent to grades 10–12). Boonpong Sirivejjabhandu
Boonpong Sirivejjabhandu ( th, บุญผ่อง สิริเวชชะพันธ์; , 21 April 190629 January 1982) widely known as Boon Pong was a Thai merchant and member of the underground "V" organization during the Japanese occupation of Thailand during World War II. World War II Boon Pong, using as cover his contract with the Imperial Japanese Army to supply the camps of Allied POWs working on the Burma Railway in Kanchanaburi, smuggled medicine, money and contraband food to the POWs and is credited by many with saving thousands of lives during the building of the railway. Although Thailand was officially allied with the Japanese, there was an active underground movement. One prisoner recalls Boonpong was the merchant with the lowest prices and the smallest mark up. Pramote Teerawiwatana ( th, ปราโมทย์ ธีระวิวัฒน์; 14 June 1967 – 4 October 2012) was a badminton player from Thailand. Career He played in six Southeast Asian Games, won the men's doubles gold in 1999 Brunei as his best results. Luang Por Dattajivo ( th, ทตฺตชีโว, ; pi, Dattajīvo; born 21 December 1940), also known by his birth name Phadet Phongsawat ( th, เผด็จ ผ่องสวัสดิ์) and former ecclesiastical title Phrarajbhavanajahn ( th, พระราชภาวนาจารย์, ), is a Thai Buddhist monk. Prawase Wasi ( th, ประเวศ วะสี; , born 1931) is a Thai haematologist, political actor and public intellectual.
