Visit To Minotaur (film)
''Visit to Minotaur'' or (russian: Визит к Минотавру, Vizit k Minotavru) is a Soviet TV serial detective film, based on the eponymous novel by the Vayner Brothers, shot by the director Eldor Urazbayev in 1987. Plot USSR, Moscow in the 1980s. A unique violin made by Antonio Stradivari is stolen from the apartment of the famous violinist Lev Osipovich Polyakov. Attorney Stanislav Tikhonov and police lieutenant Elena Nechayeva proceed to investigate the case. First, suspicions fall on Obolnikov, neighbor of the Polyakov family. But it turns out that although Obolnikov did secretly enter the apartment of the violinist he was not involved in the theft. Then Pavel Ikonnikov becomes the suspect – a former violinist who was once well acquainted with Polyakov. A motive is evident: envy of the more fortunate and successful colleague could push Ikonnikov toward crime. Nina Sergeevna Shatskaya (russian: Нина Сергеевна Ша́цкая; 16 March 1940 – 23 May 2021) was a Soviet and Russian actress, Merited Artist of the Russian Federation (2008). She was known for playing in the films '' Welcome, or No Trespassing'', ''A Man Before His Time'' and '' Visit to Minotaur''. Biography In 1963 she graduated from the Russian Institute of Theatre Arts. From 1964 to 1993 she was an actress of the Taganka Theatre. Alexander Nikolayevich Yakovlev (russian: Алекса́ндр Никола́евич Я́ковлев; 2 December 1923 – 18 October 2005) was a Soviet and Russian politician, diplomat, and historian. A member of the Politburo and Secretariat of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union throughout the 1980s, he was termed the "godfather of glasnost", and was the intellectual force behind Mikhail Gorbachev's reform programme of glasnost and perestroika. Born into a rural family, Yakovlev served as a platoon commander of a marine brigade during World War II, and became a member of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union following the war.
