Virve Sammalkorpi (born 1969) is a Finnish writer. She was born in Helsinki and attended the University of Helsinki. The Runeberg prize (Finnish: ''Runeberg-palkinto'', Swedish: ''Runebergspriset'') is a Finnish literature prize founded in 1987.
