Virus Music, founded in 2004, was a record label imprint of the independent Greek record company Legend Recordings S.A. Upon launch, the label was headed by former Minos EMI managing director Miltos Karadsas and based in Athens, Greece. He allowed the label to effectively compete with the multinationals and their growing dominance in the Greek market, similar to how he had helped foster the former independent Greek record company Nitro Music. Minos EMI is a record company based in Athens, Greece. The company serves as the Greek record label and offices of the multinational Universal Music Group. EMI is credited for founding the record business in Greece in the 1930s, by producing the first records and building the country's first recording studio. Apostolia Zoi ( el, Αποστολία Ζώη, ) is a popular Greek singer who was born in Elassona, Greece, and she grew up in Volos. She has released four studio albums. Biography Early life At the age of 14, Apostolia moved to Thessaloniki to pursue her interest in diving and swimming where she graduating from the Gymnastics Academy. One night, while out on the town with friends, a singer at a popular club gave her the microphone and Zoi started to sing. The owner of the club saw her talent, and hired her to sing at his club.
