Virunthali
''Virunthali'' () is a 2010 Tamil language romantic drama film directed by Udayasankaran Whaterman. The film stars newcomer Michael Ishwar and Vidya Pradeep, with Gopika Rajesh, Nassar, Bala Singh, Singampuli, Appukutty and Ambani Shankar playing supporting roles. The film, produced by Rajesh Gopinath, had musical score by S. S. Kumaran and was released on 16 July 2010. Plot In a small village in Madurai, Ishvar (Ishvar) is a hard-boiled money lender who hangs up with his sidekick Oli Shankar (Singampuli) and Ishvar lives in a luxurious bungalow with his mother. Ishvar is eagerly awaiting the release of his father (Nassar) who is in jail for murder and his family is highly respected by the villagers. One day, the law student Archana (Vidya Pradeep), daughter of the village postman Rangarajan (Bala Singh), comes to the village. Singampuli
Singampuli is an Indian actor and director. After making ''Red'' (2002) and ''Maayavi'' (2005), he has made a career appearing in supporting roles in films. Career Singampuli was born and brought up in Theni, Periyakulam and after studying engineering in Bangalore, he arrived in Chennai looking for a career in films. During his stint as an assistant director with Sundar C, Singampuli suggested the original plot point of ''Unnaithedi'' to the director and Sundar wrote the script of the film within a week, before discussing the line with actor Ajith Kumar. Vidya Pradeep (born 13 April 1990) is an Indian actress and scientist. She is currently working as a scientist in the United States. Her films include ''Saivam'' (2014), ''Pasanga 2'' (2015), and '' Thadam'' (2019) Career After completing her Master of Science degree in Biotechnology, Vidya Pradeep completed her PhD in Stem Cell Biology at an eye hospital in Chennai. Bala Singh
Bala Singh (7 May 195227 November 2019) was an Indian actor who appeared in Tamil language films. After making his debut in Nassar's '' Avatharam'' (1995), he appeared as the antagonist in over a hundred films. Early life and career Bala Singh was born in Kaliyakkavilai, near Marthandam in Kanyakumari District. Bala Singh initially began his career featuring in stage plays and trained with the National School of Drama, before being handed his first film role in Nassar's '' Avatharam'' (1995). Sivabalan, better known as Appukutty, is an Indian actor and comedian, who mainly appears in Tamil films. He became recognized following his performance in ''Vennila Kabadi Kuzhu''. Ambani Shankar is an Indian actor who has appeared in Tamil films.
