State Route 134 (SR 134) is a primary state highway in the U.S. state of Virginia. The state highway runs from U.S. Route 60 (US 60) and SR 143 in the independent city of Hampton north to US 17 in Tabb. SR 134 is the main connection between Hampton and southeastern York County and a major artery through Hampton, where the highway runs concurrently with US 258 and Interstate 64 (I-64). Route description SR 134 begins at an intersection with US 60 and SR 143 (Settlers Landing Road) at the west end of downtown Hampton; Armistead Avenue heads south from the intersection as an unnumbered street. A partial cloverleaf interchange or parclo is a modification of a cloverleaf interchange. The design has been well received, and has since become one of the most popular freeway-to-arterial interchange designs in North America. It has also been used occasionally in some European countries, such as Germany, Hungary, Italy, the Netherlands, and the United Kingdom. State Route 152 (SR 152) is a primary state highway in the U.S. state of Virginia. The state highway runs from U.S. Route 60 (US 60) in Newport News east to US 258 and SR 134 in Hampton. Although running primarily from west to east, it is signed south to north. Route description SR 152 begins at an intersection with US 60 (Warwick Boulevard) in the Hilton Village neighborhood of the independent city of Newport News. The state highway heads east as Main Street, a four-lane undivided highway that passes under CSX's Peninsula Subdivision and intersects US 17 and SR 143 (Jefferson Avenue). James River Bridge
The James River Bridge (JRB) is a four-lane divided highway lift bridge across the James River in the Commonwealth of Virginia. Owned and operated by the Virginia Department of Transportation, it carries U.S. Route 17 (US 17), US 258, and State Route 32 across the river near its mouth at Hampton Roads. The bridge connects Newport News on the Virginia Peninsula with Isle of Wight County in the South Hampton Roads region, and is the easternmost such crossing without a tunnel component. When completed in 1928, the 4.5-mile (7 km) bridge was the longest bridge in the world over water. The original two-lane bridge was replaced from 1975 to 1982 with a wider four-lane bridge that could handle increased traffic volumes. Mercury Boulevard in the cities of Hampton and Newport News in the Peninsula region of southeastern Virginia carries U.S. Route 258 (US 258) approximately south from Fort Monroe at Old Point Comfort on Hampton Roads to the north end of the James River Bridge. Mercury Boulevard is a major north-south commercial corridor in the region, and has an interchange with Interstate 64 (I-64) in an elaborate interchange with flyovers in Hampton near the Hampton Coliseum. Langley Research Center
The Langley Research Center (LaRC or NASA Langley), located in Hampton, Virginia, United States of America, is the oldest of NASA's field centers. It directly borders Langley Air Force Base and the Back River on the Chesapeake Bay.
