Violeta Vidaurre
Violeta Rosa Ester Vidaurre Heiremans (12 September 1928 – 1 June 2021), better known as Violeta Vidaurre, was a Chilean actress with a long television and theater career, with more than 120 characters played since her debut. For three decades, Vidaurre established herself as one of the most important theater actresses in the cast of the Catholic University's , collaborating with Eugenio Dittborn, Eugenio Guzmán, Hugo Miller, Víctor Jara, and the American Frank McMullan. In 1963, she was summoned to play Laura Larraín in ' by Isidora Aguirre, replacing , which quickly became a pop culture sensation. Traiguén () is a Chilean city and commune in the Malleco Province, Araucanía Region. Demographics According to the 2002 census of the National Statistics Institute, Traiguén spans an area of and has 19,534 inhabitants (9,734 men and 9,800 women). Mireya Véliz (1915 - 5 September 2013) was a Chilean actress with a career of more than 50 years, retiring at the age of 96. Career Véliz was featured in some of the first televised ''TV-theatre'' productions in Chile which were directed by Hugo Miller for Chile's Channel 13. Before working in television she spent a number of years writing, directing and producing theatre for children. She later became part of the ''Teatre Ensayo'' which was a major University theatre company in Chile. Nelly Lucinda Consuelo Meruane Solano (20 December 1927 – 20 June 2018) was a distinguished Chilean actress and teacher whose career spanned 65 years. For 20 years she was a member of the stable cast of the of the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile. Ana González Olea (May 4, 1915 – February 21, 2008) was an actress in Chilean theater, television and radio. She was commonly known by her nickname La Desideria.
