Vindhya (actress)
Vindhya is an Indian politician and actress who appeared in Tamil language films. She currently serves as deputy propaganda secretary in All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam. She appeared in notable productions including ''Sangamam'' (1999), alongside Rahman. Early life and career Vindhya was born on 12 August 1980. She made her debut in ''Sangamam'' alongside Rahman, though the film won positive reviews, it performed below average at the box office. Towards the latter end of her career, she appeared in low-budget films. ''Vayasu Pasanga'' is one of her box office hits. Vindhya married Gopalakrishnan, actress Bhanupriya's brother, in an arranged marriage on 16 February 2008 at the Guruvayur Temple. She filed for a divorce in 2012. The chief minister of Tamil Nadu is the chief executive of the Indian state of Tamil Nadu. In accordance with the Constitution of India, the governor is a state's ''de jure'' head, but ''de facto'' executive authority rests with the chief minister. Following elections to the Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly, the state's governor usually invites the party (or coalition) with a majority of seats to form the government. ''Kannukku Kannaga'' () is a 2000 Indian Tamil-language film directed by S. Dhayalan. It stars Murali, Devayani, Vindhya and Raja. Plot Dharma ( Murali) and Devi ( Devayani) are siblings. Although Devi is in love with Arun (Raja), she cannot marry him because an astrologer (Charuhasan) predicted that a son born to them would result in the Dharma's death, but Dharma still accepts their marriage. A few months later, Devi gives birth to Vijay (Master Vasanth), which triggers Dharma's death count. To save Dharma, Vijay must die, so Devi and Vijay poison themselves while Dharma is sleeping. The Sixteenth Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly Election was held on 6 April 2021, to elect representatives from the 234 constituencies in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu. The Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) won the election, ending the decade-long reign of the All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK). The DMK's leader M. K. The 2019 elections for Tamil Nadu's 39 seats in the 17th Lok Sabha were held on 18 April, in the second phase of the 2019 Indian general elections. Edappadi (also spelt Edappadi or Idappadi) is a municipality in Salem district in the state of Tamil Nadu, India. Edappadi was once known for its thriving power loom industry. MGR Memorial
M.G.R Memorial Complex is a memorial complex built on the Marina beach in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. Spread over 8.25 acres, the memorial is located adjacent to the Anna Memorial. It was built in memory of former chief ministers of Tamil Nadu who died in office, M. G. Ramachandran and his protégé J. Jayalalithaa, whose bodies were buried at the site on 25 December 1987 and 6 December 2016, respectively. History The memorial was built in 1988 and inaugurated by V. N. Janaki Ramachandran, wife of M. G. Ramachandran, in May 1990. The memorial was remodelled and the complex was laid with marble and opened in 1992 by J. Jayalalithaa who had become the chief minister of the state of Tamil Nadu in the previous year. When J. Jayalalithaa died on 5 December 2016, she was buried next to MGR.
