Vincent Paronnaud
Vincent Paronnaud (born 20 February 1970), a.k.a. Winshluss, is a French comics artist and filmmaker. Biography Paronnaud was born in La Rochelle. He is French comic book writer and artist. His works comprise one shots: ''Super negra'' (1999), ''Monsieur Ferraille'' (2001), ''Pat Boon'' (2001), ''Welcome to the Death Club'' (2002), ''Smart monkey'' (2002), ''Cornélius ou l'art de la mouscaille et du pinaillage'' (2007), ''Pinocchio'' (2008), ''Flip et Flopi 1996 1998'', ''In God We Trust'' (2013) and ''Les fées - An electric story'' (2014), as well as comic book series ''(AUT) Winshluss'' (2004-2014) and ''Wizz et Buzz'' (2006-2007). La Rochelle
La Rochelle (, , ; Poitevin-Saintongeais: ''La Rochéle''; oc, La Rochèla ) is a city on the west coast of France and a seaport on the Bay of Biscay, a part of the Atlantic Ocean. It is the capital of the Charente-Maritime department. With 75,735 inhabitants in 2017, La Rochelle is the most populated commune in the department and ranks fifth in the New Aquitaine region after Bordeaux, the regional capital, Limoges, Poitiers and Pau. Its inhabitants are called "les Rochelaises" and "les Rochelais". Situated on the edge of the Atlantic Ocean the city is connected to the Île de Ré by a bridge completed on 19 May 1988. ''Chicken with Plums'' (french: Poulet aux prunes) is a 2011 internationally co-produced drama film directed by Marjane Satrapi and Vincent Paronnaud. It is based on Satrapi's graphic novel of the same name. The film premiered in competition at the 68th Venice International Film Festival on 3 September 2011. Plot After Faranguisse (Maria de Medeiros) becomes enraged at her musician husband Nasser-Ali (Mathieu Amalric) for failing to take care of his children, she takes his violin and smashes it. The Noor Iranian Film Festival is an annual film festival held in Los Angeles, California, founded by cultural producer Siamak Ghahremani and co-founder Anthony Azizi in 2007. The festival's namesake comes from the word Nur, also spelled Noor, meaning to shed light or "noor," on Iranian culture and heritage through Iranian cinema.
