Vincent Dubois
Vincent Dubois (born 5 August 1981) is a French Polynesian lawyer and politician who represented French Polynesia in the Senate of France from 2014 to 2015. He is the son-in-law of Tahoera'a Huiraatira leader Gaston Flosse. Education and career Dubois was born in Cannes. He spent his childhood and adolescence in Tahiti, then studied in metropolitan France, in Paris, in Nice, where he obtained a master's degree in public law, then at the University of Oxford in England, where he obtained a master's degree in law under the Erasmus programme. After obtaining a master's degree in public economic law, delivered by the Panthéon-Assas University, he joined the CRFPA of Versailles in 2006, and obtained his CAPA in October 2007. He joined the Papeete bar in November 2007 and began his career as an associate of François Quinquis. He played rugby, and was Polynesian rugby champion several times. The Senate (french: Sénat, ) is the upper house of the French Parliament, with the lower house being the National Assembly, the two houses constituting the legislature of France. The 1st constituency of French Polynesia is a French legislative constituency in French Polynesia. Following the 2010 redistricting of French legislative constituencies, which came into application for the June 2012 legislative election, the boundaries of French Polynesia's two constituencies were redrawn so as to create a third constituency in the collectivity. Moetai Brotherson
Moetai Charles Brotherson (born 22 October 1969) is a French Polynesian politician who has served as President of French Polynesia since 12 May 2023. He had previously represented French Polynesia's 3rd constituency in the French National Assembly from the 2017. A member of Tāvini Huiraʻatira, he had also served as a member of the Assembly of French Polynesia from 2018. Brotherson has been deputy leader of Tāvini Huiraʻatira since 2017 under the leadership of former President of French Polynesia Oscar Temaru. Following the 2023 French Polynesian legislative election, Brotherson was elected President of French Polynesia by the Assembly of French Polynesia. He supports French Polynesia peacefully gaining independence from France through a local referendum possibly to be held in the 2030s. Édouard Fritch
Winfred Édouard Tereori Fritch (born 4 January 1952) is a French politician who has served as President of French Polynesia since 2014. He previously presided over the Assembly of French Polynesia on three occasions: from April 2007 to February 2008, from February 2009 to April 2009 and from May 2013 to September 2014. Until 2015, Fritch was co-president of Tahoera'a Huiraatira, a pro-French political party, before he became president of the newly-established Tapura Huiraatira. Maina Sage is a French Polynesian politician and former Cabinet Minister. She was a member of the Assembly of French Polynesia from 2008 to 2017, and a member of the National Assembly for the 1st constituency of French Polynesia from 2014 to 2022.
