Rosen Valley Railway
The Rosen Valley Railway (German: ''Rosentalbahn'') is a mainly Austrian railway that runs from Sankt Veit an der Glan via Klagenfurt and Rosenbach to in Slovenia. The section between Rosenbach and Jesenice through the Karawanks Tunnel is part of and international long-distance route between Salzburg and Zagreb. The railway line is operated by the ÖBB (Austrian Federal Railways). Traffic between Weizelsdorf and Rosenbach was suspended at the commencement 2016/17 timetable change. The line was sold to the state of Carinthia. NBIK heritage trains have been running between Weizelsdorf and Feistritz since the summer of 2020. Udine railway station ( it, Stazione di Udine) serves the city and ''comune'' of Udine, in the autonomous region of Friuli-Venezia Giulia, northeastern Italy. Opened in 1860, it is a junction of five lines, to Venice, Trieste, Tarvisio, Cervignano and Cividale, respectively. The station is currently managed by Rete Ferroviaria Italiana (RFI). Tarvisio Boscoverde Railway Station
Tarvisio Boscoverde ( it, Stazione di Tarvisio Boscoverde) is a railway station serving the town of Tarvisio, in the region of Friuli-Venezia Giulia, in Northern Italy. The station is managed by Rete Ferroviaria Italiana (RFI). Train services are operated by Trenitalia and ÖBB. History The station opened on 26 November 2000 as the current northern terminus of the rebuilt Alpine Pontebbana line from Udine railway station. From Tarvisio, the Rudolf Railway runs northwards across the border with Austria towards Villach Hauptbahnhof and the Southern Railway main line. The station replaced the former Tarvisio Centrale and Tarvisio Città railway stations, opened in 1879. Tarvisio Centrale is still used as a terminus for bus services from Udine. Zagreb Glavni kolodvor ( Croatian for ''Zagreb main station'') is the main railway station in Zagreb, Croatia. Located south of the city's main square, it is the largest station in Croatia and the main hub of the Croatian Railways network. History An 1890 act of the Royal Hungarian Government authorised the building of the main station and maintenance shop in Zagreb. Construction of the long neoclassical style station building began in 1891 and was overseen by Hungarian architect Ferenc Pfaff. Ljubljana (also known by other historical names) is the capital and largest city of Slovenia. It is the country's cultural, educational, economic, political and administrative center. EuroCity, abbreviated as EC, is a cross-border train category within the European inter-city rail network. In contrast to trains allocated to the lower-level "IC" (InterCity) category, EC trains are international services that meet 20 criteria covering comfort, speed, food service, and cleanliness. Each EC train is operated by more than one European Union or Swiss rail company, under a multilateral co-operative arrangement, and all EC trains link important European cities with each other. The EuroCity label replaced the older Trans Europ Express (TEE) name for border-crossing trains in Europe. S-Bahn
The S-Bahn is the name of hybrid urban- suburban rail systems serving a metropolitan region in German-speaking countries. Some of the larger S-Bahn systems provide service similar to rapid transit systems, while smaller ones often resemble commuter or even regional rail.
