The Province of Frosinone ( it, Provincia di Frosinone) is a province in the Lazio region of Italy, with 91 ''comuni'' (singular: ''comune''; see Comuni of the Province of Frosinone). Its capital is the city of Frosinone. It has an area of and a total population of 493,605 (2016). The Province was established by Royal Decree on 6 December 1926 with territories belonging to the then provinces of Rome and Caserta. Amaseno (local dialect: ) is a ''comune'' (municipality) in the Province of Frosinone in the Italian region Lazio, located about southeast of Rome and about south of Frosinone, located in the Monti Lepini mountain area.
