Viktoria Komova
Viktoria Aleksandrovna Komova (russian: Виктория Александровна Комова; born 30 January 1995) is a former Russian artistic gymnast. She is a two-time Olympic medalist, having won silver medals in the all-around and team events at the 2012 Olympics. She is also the 2011 world uneven bars champion and all-around silver medalist, and the 2015 co-world champion on uneven bars. At the junior level, she was the 2010 Youth Olympics all-around champion, uneven bars champion, vault champion, and floor exercise bronze medalist. Komova is known for her fluidity, form and old school Soviet style. Early life Komova was born in Voronezh, Russia, to Vera Kolesnikova and Alexander Komov. Gymnastics At The 2015 European Games
Gymnastics competitions at the 2015 European Games were held in the National Gymnastics Arena, Baku between 15–21 June 2015. In all, five different gymnastics disciplines were contested. In addition to the existing Olympic programme, additional events were held in both the rhythmic gymnastics and trampolining disciplines. In addition, events in two non-Olympic disciplines, aerobic gymnastics and acrobatic gymnastics were included. Qualification A total of 425 athletes qualified for the gymnastics competitions. Frisco is a city in Collin and Denton counties in the U.S. state of Texas. 1986 Goodwill Games
The 1986 Goodwill Games was the inaugural edition of the international multi-sport event created by Ted Turner, which was held from 5 – 20 July 1986. The main stadium was the Central Lenin Stadium in Moscow, Russian SFSR, Soviet Union. The Games were a response to the Olympic boycotts of the period, which saw the United States refuse to attend the 1980 Olympic Games in Moscow, and the Soviet Union refusing to attend the 1984 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles. The Soviet athletes dominated the competition, winning 118 gold medals and 241 medals overall. The United States finished second place, with 42 golds and 142 medals in total. Vera Kolesnikova
Vera Kolesnikova (russian: Вера Колесникова; born 7 October 1968 in Perlevka) is a former Soviet artistic gymnast. She was a member of the gold medal winning team at the 1985 World Championships. She was also the 1986 Goodwill Games all-around champion. Kolesnikova retired in 1988 after failing to make the Olympic team. In 1991, she married Russian gymnast, Alexander Komov. Gymnastics At The 2010 Summer Youth Olympics – Women's Artistic Individual All-around
Junior women's artistic individual all-around competition at the 2010 Summer Youth Olympics was held on August 19 at the Bishan Sports Hall. For each competitor in the women's qualification, the scores in artistic gymnastics is based on two separate scores that are then combined in order to come to the final score. The A score measures the difficulty of each element (and combinations of elements) within the routine, while the B score evaluates the performance, i.e. the "execution, composition and artistry" of the routine. For further information, please see the Code of Points (artistic gymnastics), Code of Points article. For all four apparatus were summed to give an all-around qualification score. The top 18 competitors moved on to the individual all-around final. In the individual all-around final, each gymnast competed on each apparatus again.
