Gujarat
Gujarat (, ) is a state along the western coast of India. Its coastline of about is the longest in the country, most of which lies on the Kathiawar peninsula. Gujarat is the fifth-largest Indian state by area, covering some ; and the ninth-most populous state, with a population of 60.4 million. Ramanbhai Dhulabhai Patel
Ramanbhai Dhulabhai Patel (born 1 June 1958) is an Indian politician and businessman from Gujarat, India. He was a Member of the Legislative Assembly from Vijapur constituency of Gujarat Legislative Assembly from 2017 to 2022. Early life and career Ramanbhai Patel was born in Vijapur, son of Dhulabhai Mohandas and Manchiben. Ramanbhai Patel is married to Sitaben Patel, and has three daughters, Alka, Bhumi and Rinku, and a son, Amar Patel. Ramanbhai received high school education in Aash High School, Vijapur. He graduated as Bachelor's in Science on U.P. Arts and M.G. Panchal College, in Pilvai. In 1988, Ramanbhai began his entrepreneur career by founding Starline Tractors Private Limited. 2012 Gujarat Legislative Assembly Election
The 2012 Gujarat Legislative Assembly elections were held in the Indian state of Gujarat in December 2012 for all 182 members of the Gujarat Legislative Assembly. Incumbent Chief Minister Narendra Modi of Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP), in power since 2002, was running for his fourth term. The leader of the opposition was Shaktisinh Gohil of the Indian National Congress (INC). Elections were held in two phases, the first on 13 December and the second on 17 December 2012. Total voting turnout of both phases was 71.32%, highest since 1980. Results were declared on 20 December 2012. 2022 Gujarat Legislative Assembly Election
Legislative Assembly election was held in Gujarat from 1 to 5 December 2022 in two phases, to elect 182 members of 15th Gujarat Legislative Assembly. The votes were counted and the results were declared on 8 December 2022. The Bharatiya Janata Party, won a huge majority of 156 seats, the most ever won by any party in Gujarat's history. The Indian National Congress fell to its lowest count in the state for 3 decades, and the newcomer Aam Aadmi Party gained five seats. Ramanbhai B. Patel (19 August 1925 – 19 September 2001) was an Indian chemist who founded the operation, along with school friend I A Modi, that eventually became the Ahmedabad-based pharmaceutical company Cadila Laboratories. Patel was born at Kathor in South Gujarat and studied chemistry at Gujarat University's L.M. College of Pharmacy before becoming a lecturer there.
