Vihaali
''Vihaali'' is a Maldivian crime suspense anthology web series written, edited and directed by Ahmed Asim. Produced by Mariyam Rasheedha under Thurukas Films, the series consists of four episodes, each episode approximately 30 minutes. The pilot episode of the first season was released on 3 April 2022 and was concluded on 2 May 2022. Ali Farooq
Ali Farooq (born 18 March 1954) is a Maldivian actor. Career In 2006, he collaborated with Amjad Ibrahim for romantic drama film '' Hithuge Edhun'' (2006), which tells the story of a disabled man, with Farooq playing the role of the father of Shaniya, a caring wife who conceals the truth about her first marriage. He then appeared in Ali Shifau's suspense thriller '' Happy Birthday'' (2009) which centers around a man who receives a birthday call informing him that his wife and son have been kidnapped and will be released in exchange for a ransom. Although the film received positive critical acclaim, it struggled at the box office. In 2014, Farooq worked with Ahmed Nimal's ''Aniyaa'', alongside Niuma Mohamed, Mohamed Jumayyil, Ismail Rasheed and Fathimath Fareela. Aminath Rashfa
Aminath Rashfa commonly known as Aashaa (born 16 September 1998) is a Maldivian film actress. Career After completing a diploma in aviation from a Sri Lankan-based institution, Rashfa moved back to Male' and was influenced by the TikTok trend, where she became an active TikTok user, which enabled her to showcase her talent as a performer. She was then offered to play a supporting tole in Ahmed Sinan-directed crime thriller ''Goh Raalhu'' (2019) which centers around the criminality and misdemeanor a young man has to deal with while trying to prove his truest intention of love. Ahmed Asim
Ahmed Asim is an Maldivian actor, editor, director, and writer who works in Dhivehi films. Career Asim made his screen debut with a video single alongside Jamsheedha Ahmed. His first film release was Mohamed Abdul Hakeem and Mohamed Nasheed directed family drama '' Kaiveneege Furathama Rey'' (1999) though he was first offered to play a role Haajara Abdul Kareem-directed ''Ajaaib'' (2000) which was released a year later. Mohamed Rasheed (2 April 1964), professionally known as Dharaa Rasheed, is a Maldivian film actor, cinematographer, producer and director. Early life At the age of twelve, Rasheed along with his friends, Sodhiq and Kashima Ahmed Shakir, used to spend most of their times at his place, singing, playing table tennis and undertake Urdu classes. After completing his studies at Majeediyya School, Rasheed witnessed several cameras being carried to the recently developed broadcasting company, Television Maldives and decided to be a cameraman. Ibrahim Jihaad Shavee commonly known as Ibrahim Jihad (born 30 November 1980) is a Maldivian actor. Aishath Rishmy
Aishath Rishmy Rameez (born 15 November 1985) is a Maldivian actress film producer and director. Early life Born in Malé, Maldives, Rishmy is the daughter of actor Aminath Rasheedha. She is the elder sister of actress Mariyam Azza. They reside in Vilingili since the early days when the island was made a satellite town of Male. Mariyam Shifa (22 November 1999) is a Maldivian film actress. Early life Shifa attributed her singing and dancing skills to her parents; her father being a prominent boduberu player and her mother being a singer, played a huge role in accomplishing her "dream of becoming an actor". Ahmed Saeed is a Maldivian film actor and director. Career 1997–2010: Debut and early releases On 13 June 1997, Saeed made his screen debut in a video single alongside Hassan Afeef and Mariyam Nisha.
