Aminath Rashfa commonly known as Aashaa (born 16 September 1998) is a Maldivian film actress. Career After completing a diploma in aviation from a Sri Lankan-based institution, Rashfa moved back to Male' and was influenced by the TikTok trend, where she became an active TikTok user, which enabled her to showcase her talent as a performer. She was then offered to play a supporting tole in Ahmed Sinan-directed crime thriller ''Goh Raalhu'' (2019) which centers around the criminality and misdemeanor a young man has to deal with while trying to prove his truest intention of love. Upon release, the film received widespread positive reviews from critics; Aminath Luba of ''Sun'' called it a "five-star worthy blockbuster film" and wrote: "The fresh faces including ashfapulls their respective roles with much expertise". Gadhdhoo
Gadhdhoo (Dhivehi: ގައްދޫ), is the second most populated island in Gaafu Dhaalu Atoll. It has its own dialect of Dhivehi which is considerably different from northern and mid-Maldivian speech. History Secession of the Suvadive Islands In January 1959, the three southern atolls: Huvadhu, Fuvahmulah and Addu, were involved in setting up the breakaway United Suvadive Republic which survived in Addu until September 1963. The name of the secessionist state was taken from the ancient name of this atoll. In some islands, like Gadhdhoo, there was opposition to the secession, and by means of threats and arson, the groups of people opposing the Suvadive state were forced to agree. Ali Shifau
Ali Shifau (born 19 May 1977) is a Maldivian film director, cinematographer and editor. One of the most successful filmmakers in Maldivian Cinema, Shifau is the recipient of a number of awards, including seven Gaumee Film Awards, and four Maldives Film Awards. In 2018, the Government of Maldives honoured him with the National Award of Recognition. Career Ali Shifau collaborated with Moomin Fuad to direct the critically appreciated crime film '' Heylaa'' (2006) featuring a cast of Ismail Rasheed, Ahmed Mauroof, Zeenath Abbas, Lufshan Shakeeb and Abdulla Muaz. Sharafudheen Abdulla (born 4 August 1991), commonly known as Sharaf Abdulla, is a Maldivian film actor. Career After completing his education in his homeland, R. Meedhoo, Abdulla relocated to Male' in 2010, in search of a job opportunity. After working at several jobs, he joined a local television channel VTV, where he featured in a drama series developed by VTV.
