Viera Cierliukievič
Viera Cierliukievič (, also known as Vera Tserlukevich; 13 October 1941 – 31 December 2000) was one of the most prominent Belarusian female political and trade union activists in the 1990s, identified among “heroic women in the history of Belarus”. Cierliukievič was born in the village of Novy Barok in Mahilioŭ region, Belarus. The village was abandoned as a result of the Chernobyl Nuclear Disaster. Уладзімер АрлоўІМЁНЫ СВАБОДЫ. Zianon Stanislavavič Pazniak ( be, Зянон Станіслававіч Пазняк, born 24 April 1944) is a Belarusian nationalism, Belarusian nationalist politician, one of the founders of the Belarusian Popular Front and leader of the Conservative Christian Party – BPF. Siarhei Iosifavich Navumchyk ( be, Сярге́й Іосіфавіч Наву́мчык; russian: Серге́й Ио́сифович Нау́мчик, born January 15, 1961) is a Belarusian journalist and politician. Navumchyk was born in Pastavy into a family of a Soviet state serviceman. In 1984 he graduated from the journalism faculty of the Belarusian State University in Minsk. Navumchyk was member of the parliament of Belarus in 1990 - 1995 and one of the key members of the fraction of the Belarusian Popular Front. Dr. Piatro Sadoŭski ( be, Пятро Садоўскі, born 1941) is a Belarusian linguist, politician and diplomat. Between 1992 and 1994 Sadoŭski served as first ambassador of independent Belarus to Germany.
