Viderup Castle
Viderup Castle ( sv, Viderups slott) is a manor house in Eslöv Municipality, Scania, Sweden. The main building has two floors together with two one-storey wings, surrounds a courtyard that is open to the north. History Viderup manor (former spelling Hviderup) was built in Renaissance style during the early 17th century by Anne Brahe (1576-1635), widow of Steen Maltesen Sehested (1553-1611), Danish Marshal of the Realm (''rigsmarsk'') and commander of Froste Herred in Scania. Eslöv Municipality
Eslöv Municipality (''Eslövs kommun'') is one of 290 municipalities of Sweden, situated in Skåne County in southern Sweden. Its seat is located in the city of Eslöv. The present municipality was created in 1971, when the former ''City of Eslöv'' was amalgamated with a number of surrounding municipalities, most of them created by the earlier nationwide local government reform in 1952. The municipality has several interesting places. There are 11 castles. Hjularöd's castle was the setting of the Swedish TV classic ''Mystery of Greveholm'' broadcast by SVT. In the Västra Strö village by the church there is an ancient monument consisting of five standing stones and two runestones DR 334 and DR 335 dating from about the year 1000. Sweden's only sugar refinery lies in Örtofta, south of Eslöv. In Eslöv there are two nature reserves, Allmänningen and Abullahagen. Scania, also known by its native name of Skåne (, ), is the southernmost of the historical provinces of Sweden, provinces (''landskap'') of Sweden. Marshal Of The Realm (Denmark)
The Marsk (English: Marshal), from 1536 the Rigsmarsk, was in Denmark the head of the armed forces from the beginning of the 13th century until the introduction of the absolute monarchy in the 1660s. It was the third highest office in the country after the Steward of the Realm and the Chancellor. The Rigsmarsk was appointed by the king from among Danish-born nobles. During some periods, the king chose to leave the office vacant and instead personally lead the military. This was the case from 1380/81 and until 1440. In the beginning the Marsk was one of the king's men and Stig Andersen Hvide used the title ''Regis Danorum Marscalcus'' ("Marshal of the Danish King") shortly before his conviction in 1287 for the murder of King Eric V.
