Vidar Norheim
Vidar Norheim (born 13 October 1981) is a Norwegian drummer, multi-instrumentalist and songwriter. Born in Molde, Norheim started drumming as one of the original members of the jazz group DIXI in 1996. He is also a graduate of the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts, where he specialized in songwriting. In 2004 he also joined a Liverpool-based band which eventually became Wave Machines, which has toured in England, the USA and Norway and in June 2009 released its debut album ''Wave If You're Really There''. Norheim has lived in Liverpool since 2002 and is married to the Liverpudlian singer-songwriter and playwright Lizzie Nunnery, with whom he has collaborated on several album releases. On 12 August 2011 he was nominated for a prize at the Trondheim Calling music festival. ''Ságat'' is a Sámi newspaper written in Norwegian that is published in Leavdnja, Finnmark, Norway. History and profile ''Ságat'' was founded in Vadsø in 1957 and moved to Leavdnja in 1981, where it still is based today. It maintains offices and reporters in Deatnu, Kárášjohka, Evenášši, Máttá-Várjjat, and Áltá, Norway. The editor since 1978 has been Geir Wulff. Molde
Molde () is a town and municipality in Møre og Romsdal county, Norway. It is located in the traditional district of Romsdal. It is located on the Romsdal Peninsula, surrounding the Fannefjord and Moldefjord. The Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts (LIPA) is a performing arts higher education institution in Liverpool, founded by Paul McCartney and Mark Featherstone-Witty and opened in 1996. LIPA offers 11 full-time BA (Hons) degrees in a range of fields across the performing arts, as well as three Foundation Certificate programmes of study in acting, music technology, and dance and popular music. LIPA offers full-time, one-year master's-level degree courses in acting (company) and costume making. It is a member of the Federation of Drama Schools. Wave Machines
Wave Machines was an English art pop band formed in Liverpool in 2007. The band released singles "The Greatest Escape We Ever Made" and "I Go I Go I Go" on Chess Club Records before signing with Neapolitan Music Limited in 2008. Three further singles, "Keep The Lights On", a newly recorded version of "I Go I Go I Go" and "Punk Spirit" followed. The band's debut album ''Wave If You're Really There'' was released in June 2009. It received favourable reviews from NME. Lizzie Nunnery
Lizzie Nunnery (born 1982, Liverpool) is an English playwright and singer-songwriter. She has participated in the Future Perfect scheme for new playwrights run by Paines Plough. Co-Artistic Director of Almanac Arts, Lizzie’s first play ''Intemperance'' (Liverpool Everyman 2007) was set among Liverpool’s Irish-Scandinavian underclass. It was awarded five stars by the Guardian and shortlisted for the Meyer-Whitworth Award. She co-wrote ''Unprotected'', winner of the Amnesty International Award for Freedom of Expression (Everyman/Traverse Edinburgh). Furuberget
Furuberget is an independent record label founded in 2013 and based in Oslo, Norway. The label was created by musicians André Lersveen and Ole Torstein Hovig. The company name (literally 'the pine mountain') comes from the name of the forest in Hedmark where Lersveen grew up, Furuberget Nature Reserve. In addition to their digital releases, Furuberget operates an online store through bandcamp for its vinyl releases. Furuberget has signed many artists including The Hallway and previously Ludvig Moon with Spellemannprisen winners as members. Vidar Norheim, former member of Liverpool band Wave Machines, is also signed to Furuberget with his solo EP. Uno Møller, formerly of pop band Team Me, released ''Lizards'' under Furuberget in February and his album will come under the label later in the month.
