Victory Engineering
Victory Engineering was a racing team based on Rome, Italy, involved in many areas of motorsport. The team was founded in 2002 by Gabriele De Bono, as part of Carlin Motorsport. In the end of 2007 the team disbanded. History Victory Engineering started competing in Italian Formula 3000/Euro Formula 3000 in 2002. Victory Engineering were involved in the World Series by Renault from 2005 to 2007. Previously the team had raced in the Eurocup Formula Renault V6. In 2007 the team also entered Formula BMW UK. Tatuus
Tatuus is an Italian chassis manufacturer for a series of formula racing series, being first founded in 1980. The company is known for its association with Renault Sport for its production of the Formula Renault chassis. History The Tatuus company was founded by Artico Sandonà in 1980. The first cars were manufactured for the 500cc and 1000cc Formula Monza championship. Founder Sandona was one of the drivers in the Formula Monza championship. Luca Melgrati won the first championship for Tatuus in 1983 in the Formula Panda Monza championship. Sandona achieved a second place in the championship. Tatuus were the team and chassis to beat. Melgrati won the championship again in 1985 and 1986. For the 1988 season the Italian manufacturer was contracted to build the cars for the new Formula König. Tomáš Kostka
Tomáš Kostka (born 27 August 1984) is a Czech racing driver, who lives in Beausoleil, Alpes-Maritimes. Racing career Kostka raced in Formula Ford and the Ford Puma Cup in 2001. He raced in Formula BMW ADAC and Austrian F3 the following year. He moved onto the more competitive Recaro F3 Cup in 2003. He combined another year there in 2004 with races in the World Series by Nissan and Euro Formula 3000 championship. He carried on in Formula Renault 3.5 Series for another two seasons, amassing a total of 12 points. He moved into touring cars in the Czech series, racing an Audi A4 DTM, in which he won the 2008 Sprint championship. Davide Rigon
Davide Rigon (born 26 August 1986) is an Italian professional racing driver who is currently competing in the FIA World Endurance Championship and other selected GT races for AF Corse. He is also currently part of the Scuderia Ferrari Formula One test driver team. Career Starting out in Formula BMW ADAC in 2003, Thiene-born Rigon progressed to the Italian Formula Renault Championship and Italian Formula Three. Danilo Dirani
Danilo Dirani is a racing driver from Brazil. He was born on January 10, 1983, in São Paulo. In his karting career (between the years of 1992 and 2002), Danilo won 29 different championships in South America. In 2002, Danilo moved to Formula 3 and Formula Three Sudamericana, and finished runner-up to Nelson Piquet Jr. Dirani won just 2 races, compared to Piquet's thirteen. But in 2003, Danilo won 14 out of the 18 races to win the championship. Enrico Toccacelo
Enrico Toccacelo (born 14 December 1978 in Rome) is an Italian auto racer with karting, GT and Formula 3000 experience. He won three F3000 events and briefly led Vitantonio Liuzzi in the 2004 championship before Liuzzi went on to win the next three races. He finished runner-up, but, unable to land a Formula One seat, raced in the World Series by Renault series in 2005. From the 2005 Turkish Grand Prix he was the third driver with Minardi, appearing in Friday practice sessions for three Grand Prix weekends. Dallara is an Italian race car manufacturer, founded by its current President, Gian Paolo Dallara. After working for Ferrari, Maserati, Lamborghini and De Tomaso, in 1972 in his native village of Varano de' Melegari (Parma), Italy he created "Dallara Automobili". Robbie Kerr
Robert "Robbie" Kerr (born 26 September 1979 in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire) is a British racing driver. In 2002, Kerr won the British Formula 3 championship. Career Early career In 2002 he became the British Formula Three Champion for Alan Docking Racing with 306 points ahead of Australian racing driver James Courtney. Following an abortive attempt at International Formula 3000 in 2003, Kerr did not race again until 2004 when he raced in the Formula Renault V6 Eurocup. At the opening round at Monza Kerr had earned pole position but mechanical problems forced him out. He eventually won a race at the last race of the season in Valencia. Giorgio Mondini
Giorgio Mondini (Born July 19, 1980) is an automobile racing driver from Geneva, Switzerland. Career Mondini began his competitive racing career at the age of 21, when he came 26th in the Formula Renault 2000 Eurocup series. In 2002 he made his way up to 17th place, before moving on to Formula Renault V6 Eurocup. In 2003 he achieved 7th place, and in 2004 became champion with three wins, three pole positions and a total of eight podiums. In 2005 he competed in the Formula Renault 3.5 Series with Eurointernational before moving to GP2 with DPR. He also tests for the Swiss A1GP team.
