Enrico Toccacelo
Enrico Toccacelo (born 14 December 1978 in Rome) is an Italian auto racer with karting, GT and Formula 3000 experience. He won three F3000 events and briefly led Vitantonio Liuzzi in the 2004 championship before Liuzzi went on to win the next three races. He finished runner-up, but, unable to land a Formula One seat, raced in the World Series by Renault series in 2005. From the 2005 Turkish Grand Prix he was the third driver with Minardi, appearing in Friday practice sessions for three Grand Prix weekends. He raced in the inaugural season of A1 Grand Prix with A1 Team Italy, also appearing as a guest driver for A1 Team Pakistan after they were unable to find a driver at the South African round at Durban. In the second season of A1GP, Toccacelo was replaced by Alessandro Pier Guidi for the first two rounds, before appearing at the Beijing race, where he won the Feature race. 2005–06 A1 Grand Prix Season
The 2005–06 A1 Grand Prix season was the inaugural season for the A1 Grand Prix series. It began on 25 September 2005, and finished on 2 April 2006 after eleven races. This first season was won by A1 Team France on 12 March 2006. Teams 25 teams, each representing a different country, signed up for the first A1 Grand Prix season. All teams used a control chassis ( Lola A1GP), engine ( Zytek) and tyre ( Cooper Avon). 2005 Turkish Grand Prix
The 2005 Turkish Grand Prix (officially the 2005 Formula 1 Turkish Grand Prix) was a Formula One motor race held on 21 August 2005 at Istanbul Park, Tuzla, Turkey. It was the fourteenth race of the 2005 FIA Formula One World Championship and the inaugural Turkish Grand Prix. The 58-lap race was won by Finnish driver Kimi Räikkönen, driving a McLaren- Mercedes. Räikkönen took his fifth victory of the season after starting from pole position and leading every lap. Vitantonio Liuzzi
Vitantonio "Tonio" Liuzzi (born 6 August 1980) is an Italian professional racing driver who formerly raced in Formula One for the Red Bull, Toro Rosso, Force India and HRT teams. Karting Born in Locorotondo, BA, Apulia, Liuzzi, like many auto racing drivers, began his career in kart racing (at age 9). He won the 1993 Italian Karting Championship, and in 1995 took second in the Karting World Championship and placed fifth in the European Championship. He won the Karting World Championship in 2001. He beat Formula One champion Michael Schumacher at Kerpen, Schumacher's 'home' track. Formula Renault, F3 and F3000 Liuzzi then moved to cars, finishing second in the 2001 German Formula Renault Championship. 2003 World Series By Nissan Season
The 2003 Telefónica World Series by Nissan was contested over 9 race weekends/18 rounds.
