Victorio Cocco
Victorio Nicolás Cocco (born 23 March 1946 in Santa Fe, Argentina) is a former Argentine footballer. He played for a number of clubs in Argentina, Spain and Colombia and represented the Argentina national football team. Personal life Three marriages. Four children. Two from first marriage: Victorio Jr and Verónica, one from his second marriage: Victoria and another from his third marriage, Aaron. Playing career Cocco made his professional debut playing for Unión de Santa Fe in the Argentine 2nd division in 1964. He was part of the team that won the championship and promotion to the Primera in 1966. Cocco played one season with Unión in the Primera in 1967. Cocco was signed by San Lorenzo in 1968 and later that year he won his first Primera Division title with the club. Agustín Ernesto Irusta (born 19 July 1942) is a former Argentine football goalkeeper who played most of his career for San Lorenzo de Almagro. Irusta was born in Villa María, Cordoba. He made his professional debut for San Lorenzo on 23 June 1963 against Atlanta. He was born in San Vicente, Córdoba, and won four league championships with San Lorenzo in Argentina and represented the Argentina national football team at the 1974 FIFA World Cup. Sergio Bismarck Villar (born 5 January 1944) is a Uruguayan former footballer who played as a left back. He played most of his career for San Lorenzo de Almagro in Argentina. Villar started his career in Uruguay where he played for Club Sportivo Cerrito, C.A. Canillitas and Defensor S.C. Metropolitano Championship
The Metropolitano championship ("Campeonato Metropolitano") was an Argentine football tournament which existed between 1967 and 1984. The Metropolitano formed one half of the Primera División, taking place in the first half of the year, while the Nacional championship ("Campeonato Nacional") took place in the 2nd half of the year. This arrangement lasted until 1982 when they were reversed. The Metropolitano and Nacional were abandoned to make way for European style seasons beginning in 1985–1986.
