Victoria Stilwell
Victoria Stilwell (born 20 July 1969) is an English author, dog trainer and television presenter. Stilwell has appeared as a pet behavior expert and served as a producer on several international TV series including ''Dogs Might Fly'' (Sky TV), ''Dogs With Extraordinary Jobs'' (Smithsonian Channel), and ''Greatest American Dog'' (CBS), and is best known as the star and creator of the dog training TV show ''It's Me or the Dog''. She is a leading proponent of positive reinforcement-based dog training tools and methods to provide pet behavior advice instead of traditional methods which typically employ multiple approaches including the use of pain, fear and intimidation. Order Of The British Empire
The Most Excellent Order of the British Empire is a British order of chivalry, rewarding contributions to the arts and sciences, work with charitable and welfare organisations, and public service outside the civil service. ''TV Quick'' was a British weekly television listing magazine published by H Bauer Publishing, the UK subsidiary of family-run German company Bauer Media Group. It featured weekly television listings running from Saturday to Friday, and began publication on 30 March 1991 following deregulation of the UK listing magazine market. The magazine had its own annual awards ceremony, the ''TV Quick'' Awards, awarded on the basis of a public vote by readers of ''TV Quick'' and its sister publication ''TV Choice''. The awards were renamed the ''TV Choice'' Awards following the title's closure. The People's Choice Awards is an American awards show, recognizing people in entertainment, voted online by the general public and fans. The show has been held annually since 1975, with the winners originally determined using Gallup Polls until a switch to online voting in 2005. ''Dogs Today'' magazine was launched in 1990 by Burlington Publishing Company Ltd, part of Associated Newspapers. It was the brainchild of ''Daily Mail'' newspaper proprietor the late Viscount Rothermere. History Beverley Cuddy was appointed the launch editor. She had previously worked on many other dog titles and had been the Kennel Club's Information Officer, but this was her first editorship. She was also the publisher of the magazine. Few at the ''Daily Mail'' shared Rothermere's vision and the launch was erratically supported internally.
