Victor Solkin
Victor Victorovich Solkin (russian: Ви́ктор Ви́кторович Со́лкин; born January 7, 1977, Moscow) is a Russian historian ( Egyptology), museologist, lecturer, founder and leader of the Association for the Study of Ancient Egypt MAAT. He graduated from the Peoples' Friendship University of Russia, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Department of General History. From 1993 he began to study the ancient Egyptian language at the Center for Egyptological Studies of the Russian Academy of Sciences. Since 1994, he became an employee of the center, worked there until 2000. Together with colleagues prepared several archaeological photo exhibitions. Participant of two International Egyptological congresses. Fyodor Filippovich Konyukhov (russian: Фёдор Филиппович Конюхов; born 12 December 1951 in Chkalovo, Pryazovskyi Raion, Zaporizhzhia Oblast, Ukrainian SSR) is a Russian survivalist, voyager, aerial and marine explorer, and artist. In December 2010 he became an Eastern Orthodox priest in the Ukrainian Orthodox Church (Moscow Patriarchate). Personal life Konyukhov was born in the village of Chkalovo, located in the Pryazovskyi Raion of Ukraine's Zaporizhzhia Oblast. His father was a fisherman on the Sea of Azov, while his grandfather had served in the same garrison as Georgy Sedov, an Arctic explorer. Vladimir Semyonovich Golenishchev (russian: Владимир Семёнович Голенищев; 29 January 1856 – 5 August 1947), formerly also known as Wladimir or Woldemar Golenischeff, was one of the first and most accomplished Russian Egyptologists. Zahi Abass Hawass ( ar, زاهي حواس; born May 28, 1947) is an Egyptian archaeologist, Egyptologist, and former Minister of State for Antiquities Affairs, serving twice.
