Victor Perez (golfer)
Victor Perez (born 2 September 1992) is a French professional golfer who plays on the European Tour. He won the 2019 Alfred Dunhill Links Championship. The following year, he was runner-up at both the Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship and the BMW PGA Championship. Amateur career Perez attended the University of New Mexico from 2011 to 2015. He represented France in the 2014 Eisenhower Trophy, where he was the joint-second lowest individual scorer behind Jon Rahm. Professional career Perez finished second in the Alps Tour qualifying school in December 2015 to earn a place on the tour for 2016. He was runner-up in the Open Frassanelle and won the Alps de Las Castillas, finishing the season fifth in the Order of Merit to earn a place on the 2017 Challenge Tour. 2018 Challenge Tour
The 2018 Challenge Tour was a series of professional golf tournaments collectively known as the Challenge Tour. The Challenge Tour is Europe's official developmental tour and is organised by the PGA European Tour. It was introduced in 1986 and was originally called the Satellite Tour, before being renamed with its present title in 1990. Schedule The following table lists official events during the 2018 season. Ryan Fox (golfer)
Ryan Fox (born 22 January 1987) is a New Zealand professional golfer who plays on the European Tour and PGA Tour of Australasia. Professional career Fox turned professional in 2012 and played on the 2012 PGA Tour of Australasia. He had two 4th-place finishes, in the New Zealand PGA Pro-Am Championship and the New South Wales PGA Championship. He was runner-up in the 2014 Coca-Cola Queensland PGA Championship and later in the year won the Western Australian Open. In early 2015, he had his second win on the PGA Tour of Australasia, the Queensland PGA Championship. Fox was joint runner-up in the 2015 Maekyung Open in South Korea and later in the year began playing on the 2015 Challenge Tour, winning the Le Vaudreuil Golf Challenge in July. The Dutch Open is an annual golf tournament played in the Netherlands, and has been part of the European Tour's schedule since the Tour was inaugurated in 1972. 2020 Masters Tournament
The 2020 Masters Tournament was the 84th edition of the Masters Tournament and was originally scheduled as the first of golf's four major championships to be held in 2020. Originally scheduled for April 9–12 at Augusta National Golf Club in Augusta, Georgia, the tournament was postponed due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. On April 6, Augusta National announced the tournament was rescheduled for November 12–15. On August 12, it was announced that the tournament would be held without spectators in attendance. Dustin Johnson won the tournament with a record score of 268, 20-under-par, five strokes ahead of Im Sung-jae and Cameron Smith. Official World Golf Ranking
The Official World Golf Ranking is a system for rating the performance level of professional golfers. It was started in 1986. The rankings are based on a player's position in individual tournaments (i.e. not pairs or team events) over a "rolling" two-year period. New rankings are calculated each week. During 2018, nearly 400 tournaments on 20 tours were covered by the ranking system. All players competing in these tournaments are included in the rankings. In 2022, 23 tours factored into the world rankings. As well as being of general interest, the rankings have an additional importance, in that they are used as one of the qualifying criteria for entry into a number of leading tournaments. The Turkish Airlines Open is a European Tour golf tournament played annually in Turkey since 2013. In both 2013 and 2014 the tournament was the penultimate event of the European Tour Final Series. The first three tournaments were held at the Montgomerie Maxx Royal. Honma Hong Kong Open
The Hong Kong Open is a golf tournament which is co-sanctioned by the Asian Tour and the European Tour. It was founded in 1959 and in 1962 was one of the five tournaments that made up the inaugural Far East Circuit, later known as the Asia Golf Circuit. It remained part of the circuit until 1996, before joining the Asian Tour, then known as the Omega Tour, in 1997. It became co-sanctioned by the European Tour in 2001, as part of the 2002 season. The Belgian Open (name owned by the Royal Belgian Golf Federation) is a men's golf tournament which has been played intermittently from 1910 to 2000. All editions since 1978 have been part of the European Tour. Adrià Arnaus Antúnez (born 17 October 1994) is a Spanish professional golfer who plays on the European Tour. He won the 2022 Catalunya Championship on the European Tour. Amateur career Arnaus attended Texas A&M University from 2012 to 2016.
