Victor Palovaara
Victor Palovaara (born 31 January 1994) is an international speedway rider from Sweden. Speedway career After winning two medals at the Team Speedway Junior European Championship (a silver in 2010 and bronze in 2011) Palovaara came to prominence in 2014, when he was part of the Swedish team that the bronze medal at the 2014 Team Speedway Junior World Championship. The same year, he joined Glasgow Tigers for the 2014 Premier League speedway season and 2015 Premier League speedway season. In 2015 he finished 9th in the 2015 Speedway Under-21 World Championship and won a third medal (silver) at he European teams. He left Glasgow to join Newcastle Diamonds for the 2016 Premier League speedway season. He did not ride in Britain during 2017 but came back as part of the Edinburgh Monarchs team for the SGB Championship 2018 & SGB Championship 2019 campaigns. 2015 Premier League Speedway Season
The 2015 Premier League season was the second division of British speedway. Summary took place between March and October 2015. The Edinburgh Monarchs were the defending champions after winning the championship in 2014. The 13 teams that competed remained unchanged from the teams who competed in 2014. There had been concerns about whether or not the Peterborough Panthers would be able to compete but their future was secured after being able to raise the money necessary to continue racing. In an all-Scottish final, the Edinburgh Monarchs became the first team to win consecutive Premier League titles, by beating the Glasgow Tigers in the Grand Final. The 2022 Swedish Speedway season was the 2022 season of speedway in Sweden. Smederna won the Elitserien and were declared the winners of the Swedish Speedway Team Championship. Valsarna won the Allsvenskan (second tier league). Earlier in March 2022, Vetlanda were declared bankrupt and would not compete during the season. Allsvenskan (literally, "The National League") is the second tier in the league system of speedway in Sweden and currently comprises seven Swedish speedway teams. Until the introduction of the Elitserien in 1982 the Allsvenskan was the highest level of Swedish Speedway. 2022 European Pairs Speedway Championship
The 2022 European Pairs Speedway Championship was the 19th edition of the European Pairs Speedway Championship. the final was held in Slangerup, Denmark on 27 August. The second semi final was held in Mâcon in France on 23 July, where defending champions France were eliminated, along with Italy and the Netherlands. The first semi final was held in Nagyhalasz in Hungary 8 July and saw Slovenia, Ukraine, Hungary and Finland eliminated. The title was won by Denmark for the first time. SGB Championship 2019
The SGB Championship 2019 is the second division of Great British speedway. The season runs between March and October 2019 and consisted of 12 participating teams. The current league champions are the Workington Comets who completed an excellent 2018 season winning three major trophies. Four new teams joined the SGB Championship in 2019 with two of them dropping down from the 2018 SGB Premiership league season these teams were Leicester Lions and Somerset Rebels with Ipswich Witches and Peterborough Panthers moving in the opposite direction. Two teams from the third tier of British speedway the National League Birmingham Brummies and Eastbourne Eagles moved up into this season's league while the Lakeside Hammers did not compete.
