Veterans Village, (PSGC137404130 more commonly known as Project 7 and Muñoz, is a barangay located in Quezon City with an approximate land area of bounded by Barangay San Antonio in the Southwest, Roosevelt Avenue in the West, Barangay Bungad in the Southeast and EDSA in the North. Roosevelt LRT Station
Roosevelt station ( ; ) is the current northern terminus of Line 1 of the Manila Light Rail Transit System and was constructed as part of the Line 1 North Extension Project. It opened on October 22, 2010. Roosevelt is one of the two Line 1 stations serving Quezon City, the other being Balintawak. It is located in Barangay Ramon Magsaysay (Bago Bantay), Quezon City and its neighbors, Project 7 (Veterans Village and Bungad) and Project 8 (Bahay Toro, Sangandaan, Baesa). It links to Congressional Avenue and Fernando Poe Jr. Avenue. The station is named after the latter's name by the time of the station's operation, Roosevelt Avenue, which was named in honor of U.S. President Franklin D. Roosevelt. The Light Rail Transit Line 1, commonly referred to as LRT Line 1 or LRT-1, is a light rapid transit system line in Metro Manila, Philippines, operated by Light Rail Manila Corporation (LRMC) and owned by the Light Rail Transit Authority (LRTA) as part of the Manila Light Rail Transit System. Sangguniang Kabataan (abbreviated as SK; ) is a council meant to represent the youth in each barangay in the Philippines. It was put "on hold", but not quite abolished, prior to the 2013 barangay elections. In January 2016, the Sangguniang Kabataan Reform Act was signed into law which made some significant changes to the SK and initially scheduled new elections for October 2016. In March 2017, the elections were postponed anew to May 2018. The SK Chairman leads the Sangguniang Kabataan. A Local Youth Development Council (LYDC) composed of representatives of different local youth groups supports the SK and its programs. The Sangguniang Kabataan is the successor of the Kabataang Barangay (KB; ) which was abolished by the Local Government Code of 1991.
