Verónica Natalia Páez (born April 17, 1974) is a female marathon runner from Argentina who is a two-time winner of the Buenos Aires Marathon in her native country (2003 and 2004). The marathon is a long-distance foot race with a distance of , usually run as a road race, but the distance can be covered on trail routes. The marathon can be completed by running or with a run/walk strategy. There are also wheelchair divisions. The Maratón de Buenos Aires is an annual marathon (sport), marathon foot-race which takes place in Buenos Aires, Argentina, during the Southern Hemisphere's Spring, usually in October. The 21st edition of the Buenos Aires Marathon started on October 9, 2005 at 7:30 at the 9 de Julio Avenue and Córdoba Avenue in the Recoleta, Buenos Aires, Recoleta neighbourhood, being the start also the ending point after the 42.195 kilometres (26 miles and 385 yards) of the classic race. Santa Rosa () is a city in the Argentine Pampas (lowlands), and the capital of La Pampa Province, Argentina.
