Verdena are an Italian Rock music, rock band originating in Albino, Italy, Albino, Bergamo. As of February 2015, they have released six full-length albums under Universal Music Group. History Origins The group formed in 1995 with the two brothers Alberto (guitarist) and Luca Ferrari (drummer). In 1996, after various bass players coming and going, met Roberta Sammarelli (bassist), who at the time was playing guitar for a female punk group in Bergamo, the Porno Nuns, with who Alberto knew for some time. The same year, they recorded and released their first demo ''Froll sound'', with lyrics almost entirely in English with influences by Nirvana (band), Nirvana. The group initially decided to call themselves "Verbena," the name of Verbena, a plant (Alberto yells it in ''Nella schiuma'', a song from their second demo tape), but changed to Verdena after finding out Verbena (band), a group in the United States already had that name. Wow is the fifth album by the Italian alternative-rock band Verdena, released in 2011. It was published as a double CD on January 18, 2011, by Universal Music Group. It was released on this date in Italy and Switzerland. Wow was released on vinyl on January 30, 2011, and on September 20, 2011, was released in deluxe version, with two digipak format discs are joined to a DVD Wow Tour 2011, with amateur images produced by the band during the tour, hence the name Amatour. Cream (band)
Cream were a British rock band formed in London in 1966. The group consisted of bassist Jack Bruce, guitarist Eric Clapton, and drummer Ginger Baker. Bruce was the primary songwriter and vocalist, although Clapton and Baker also sang and contributed songs. Formed from members of previously successful bands, they are widely regarded as the world's first supergroup. Cream were highly regarded for the instrumental proficiency of each of their members. A djembe or jembe ( ; from Maninka language, Malinke ''jembe'' , N'Ko script, N'Ko: ) is a rope-tuned skin-covered goblet drum played with bare hands, originally from West Africa. According to the Bambara people in Mali, the name of the djembe comes from the saying "Anke djé, anke bé" which translates to "everyone gather together in peace" and defines the drum's purpose. Rhodes Piano
The Rhodes piano (also known as the Fender Rhodes piano) is an electric piano invented by Harold Rhodes, which became popular in the 1970s. Like a conventional piano, the Rhodes generates sound with keys and hammers, but instead of strings, the hammers strike thin metal tines, which vibrate next to an electromagnetic pickup. The signal is then sent through a cable to an external keyboard amplifier and speaker. The instrument evolved from Rhodes's attempt to manufacture pianos while teaching recovering soldiers during World War II. Development continued after the war and into the following decade. Grunge
Grunge (sometimes referred to as the Seattle sound) is an alternative rock genre and subculture that emerged during the in the American Pacific Northwest state of Washington, particularly in Seattle and nearby towns. Grunge fuses elements of punk rock and heavy metal, but without punk's structure and speed. Hard rock or heavy rock is a loosely defined subgenre of rock music typified by aggressive vocals and distorted electric guitars.
