Willeke Alberti (born 3 February 1945) (real name: Willy Albertina Verbrugge) is a Dutch singer and actress, the daughter of entertainer and singer Willy Alberti (1926–1985) and Hendrika Geertruida Kuiper (1921–2011). Biography Willeke Alberti started her career at the early age of eleven in the musical ''Duel om Barbara'' and she recorded her first single in 1958 together with her father. During the 1960s, she was a well-known singer in the Netherlands and had at least one No. 1 hit with "De winter was lang" ("It was a long winter"), however there was no official Dutch chart at the time. Willeke and her father had a television show between 1965 and 1969. Her singing career from 1970 onwards is less active, however Alberti still releases singles and albums at an irregular interval and plays minor roles in television programs and movies. Sven Verbrugge (Schoten, 21 August 1967) is a retired Belgium, Belgian sidecarcross passenger and triple Sidecarcross World Championship, Sidecarcross World Champion, winning the title in 2005, 2006 and 2011. Verbrugge started racing motocross in 1983 in the 125 cc solo class before becoming a sidecarcross passenger in 1986. In his career, he has raced for over 20 years in the Belgian, Dutch and the world sidecarcross championships. After his second world championship in 2006, Sven retired from the world championship, but felt, according to himself, "homesick" for the GP circus and returned for the 2008 season alongside his countryman Nicky Pulinx. Laurina Christina (Rineke) Verbrugge (born 12 March 1965 in Amsterdam) is a Dutch logician and computer scientist known for her work on interpretability logic and provability logic. She completed her PhD at the University of Amsterdam in 1993 under the supervision of Dick de Jongh, Anne Troelstra, and Albert Visser. Rik Verbrugghe (born 23 July 1974) is a Belgian former professional road racing cyclist. Verbrugghe was born in Tienen, Flemish Brabant. In 1996, he turned professional, and he has since become a Belgian time trial champion, competed in the 2000 Summer Olympics, won a stage at the Tour de France, three stages at the Giro d'Italia, and the one-day Ardennes classics–La Flèche Wallonne, and the overall and two stages of the Critérium International. Cyrille C. Verbrugge (9 November 1866 – 4 May 1929) was a Belgian fencer who gained recognition for his achievements during the early 20th century. He particularly shone during the 1906 Intercalated Games, where he secured two gold medals. These Games, held in Athens, were considered at the time to be part of the Olympic tradition, although they are no longer recognized as such by the International Olympic Committee today. In addition to his 1906 accolades, Verbrugge also participated in the 1900 Paris Olympics, marking the start of his Olympic journey. Willy Alberti (born Carel Verbrugge; 14 October 1926 – 18 February 1985) was a Dutch singer, who sang in Dutch and Italian. He was also an actor and a radio and TV personality. Alberti was born in Amsterdam as the third of eight children to Jacobus Wilhelm Verbrugge and Sophia Jacoba van Musscher. He sang with family members at a very young age. He began recording professionally in the early 1940s. In 1944 he married Ria Kuiper and his daughter Willeke Alberti, later to become a successful Dutch vocalist herself, was born in 1945. After the war Alberti established himself in the Netherlands with Italian songs; he became increasingly popular in the 1950s, when he had a string of hits beginning with '' Nel blu dipinto di blu'' in 1958.
