Venance Grumel
Venance Grumel (born François Grumel on 23 May 1890, La Serraz, Le Bourget-du-Lac, Savoy, France – died 13 August 1967, Paris) was a French theologian and Byzantinist. Biography He was born on 23 May 1890 under the name of François Grumel in La Serraz, in the commune of Le Bourget-du-Lac, in Savoy, France. Orphaned, he began his schooling at the Bocage orphanage, near Chambéry (1895-1902). He joined the Assumptionist, or Augustinians of the Assumption, school of Notre-Dame des Châteaux, in the Tarentaise Valley (1902-1903). Later, he transferred to Mongreno (near Turin) in Italy (1903-1905). Grumel completed his studies in Spain - at Calahorra (1905-1907) and Elorrio (1907). On 11 September 1907, he entered the Assumptionist novitiate of Louvain, Belgium, where took the name of Brother Venance. Venance Konan (born 12 December 1958, in Bocanda), is an Ivorian journalist and writer. His journalistic talents have earned him several awards by the prestigious Ebony. He was propelled to the front of the literary scene in 2003 with his bestseller Prisonniers de la haine. Biography His work is characterized by an afro-sarcastic approach. He was a supporter of Alassane Ouattara and the Democratic Party of Côte d'Ivoire – African Democratic Rally (PDCI-RDA) during the campaign for the late Ivorian presidential election, 2010. Venance Salvatory Mabeyo, also known as Vicent Mabeyo, is a retired Tanzanian military officer who served as the eighth Defense Forces Chief to lead the Tanzania People's Defense Force (TPDF). He was appointed by President John Magufuli on 6 February 2017. After Magufuli's death in March 2021, Mabeyo played a major role in ensuring a smooth transition of power to the new President, Samia Suluhu Hassan. He retired from the TPDF in June 2022. Venance Payot
Venance Payot (June 26, 1826 – March 13, 1902) was a naturalist, glaciologist, alpine mountain-guide, scholar, author, and two-time mayor of Chamonix, France. He published a wide range of early scientific literature relating to the mountains of the Mont Blanc massif and undertook some of the earliest continued measurements of the movement of glaciers within that mountain range. He has been posthumously credited in mountaineering literature with being the youngest person (as of 1843) to have climbed Mont Blanc, and would have been sixteen years old at the time; other sources have challenged this. Personal life Payot was born in Chamonix on June 26, 1826. He was the seventh child of his mother, Marie Pierrette Simond (1797–1852). Venance Zézé, nicknamed Zézéto, (born 17 June 1981 in Abidjan), is an Ivorian footballer who currently plays for Séwé Sport. International He has been capped by the Ivorian national side. Career Like many successful Ivorian footballers, he is a product of the famed youth academy at ASEC Abidjan, where he began his career.
