Vena (group)
Vena, currently DNA Latin Group, is an American bachata group formed by members Lenny Santos and Max Santos from Aventura alongside ex-vocalist Steven Tejada from Xtreme. They are known for their hits such as "Sangre de Mis Venas", "Corazon de Hierro (featuring Teodoro Reyes & Frank Reyes)", "Señora", "Dile a El", "Por Mentiras", among others. VENA alongside Larry Hernandez were nominated for a Billboard Premious Musica Mexicana award in 2012. History D'Element After Aventura announced their separation in 2011, Max would work on his solo rap project while was only producing music as he isn't a singer nor rapper. Lenny decided to form a new bachata group and convinced Max to join. They recruited Sammy Genao and Aileen Rosario to form the group D'Element. Bachata (music)
Bachata is a genre of music that originated in the Dominican Republic in the 20th century. It is a fusion of southwestern European influences, mainly Spanish guitar music, with indigenous Taino and Sub Saharan African musical elements, representative of the cultural diversity of the Dominican population. The first recorded compositions of bachata was done by José Manuel Calderón in 1962 ("Borracho de amor") from the Dominican Republic. Bachata originates from bolero and son (and later, from the mid-1980s, merengue). The original term used to name the genre was ''amargue'' ("bitterness", "bitter music" or "blues music"), until the mood-neutral term ''bachata'' became popular. Inmortal (Aventura Song)
"Inmortal" is a song recorded by Aventura released as the lead single from Romeo Santos' fourth studio album '' Utopía''. It is the first single for the band since their split in 2011. The single debuted at number 95 on the ''Billboard'' Hot 100 and charted in numerous Latin American countries. Background Romeo Santos teased the song on Instagram on April 1, 2019, and promised that it would release that night. However, it turned out to be an April Fools' Day prank, and this angered many fans. Anthony "Romeo" Santos (born July 21, 1981) is an American singer, songwriter, record producer and actor who is best known as the frontman and lead vocalist of the bachata group Aventura. In 2002, the song " Obsesión" reached number one in Italy for 16 consecutive weeks. He released several albums with Aventura before the group broke up. Since then, Santos has embarked on a solo career which has spawned seven number one songs on the Hot Latin Songs chart and seventeen number ones on the Tropical Songs chart. Henry Santos Jeter (born Henry Santos on December 15, 1979) is a Dominican singer, songwriter, and producer. Best known for his tenure as a singer and songwriter in the bachata group Aventura. He made his debut as a solo artist in 2011. Early life Santos was born in 1979, in Moca, Espaillat, Dominican Republic. He moved with his family to the Bronx, NY, at age of 14. He is the cousin of bachata star Romeo Santos, with whom he co-founded Los Tinellers in 1994 in what would later become the group known today as Aventura.
