Vejle
Vejle () is a city in Denmark, in the southeast of the Jutland Peninsula at the head of Vejle Fjord, where the Vejle River and Grejs River and their valleys converge. It is the site of the councils of Vejle Municipality ('' kommune'') and the Region of Southern Denmark. The city has a population of 60,231 () making it the ninth largest city in Denmark. Vejle Municipality has a population of 119,007 () making it the fifth largest municipality in Denmark. The city is part of the Triangle Region, which includes the neighbouring cities of Kolding and Fredericia and it is located 110 kilometres (68 miles) north of Germany. The Conservative People's Party ( da, Det Konservative Folkeparti, DKF), also known as The Conservatives () is a conservative centre-right political party in Denmark. The party is a member of the European People's Party (EPP) and International Democrat Union. History The party was founded in 1916 based mostly on its predecessor, Højre ("Right") after its downfall, but also on the Free Conservatives and a moderate faction of the liberal party Venstre. The party was a part of the coalition government during World War II, where the leader John Christmas Møller provided the voice for BBC London's daily radio to Denmark. ''Vejle Amts Folkeblad'' is a regional Danish newspaper. It is now published by Jysl Gynske Medier. History The newspaper was first published on 20 October 1865 by Thomas Nielsen. Later that year, H Kleine bought the newspaper and the associated printing business from Nielsen. After Kleine's death in 1868, his widow published the paper for one year. In 1869, Nielsen and editor A. K. Jensen bought the paper. Jensen retired in 1882. After Nielsen's death in 1895 , the paper was published by a Joint-stock company, joint stock company. In 1892, Chr.
