Vejlby-Risskov Idrætsklub
Vejlby-Risskov Idrætsklub, commonly known as VRI, is a sports club based in Risskov, Aarhus, Denmark. VRI is mostly known for its association football department, which competes in the Denmark Series, the fifth tier of the Danish football league system. Founded in 1937, it is affiliated to the regional DBU Jutland football association. The team plays its home matches at NES Park where it has been based since 2011. History The club was founded on 9 November 1937. The initiators were Frode Nielsen and Gunnar Åse Nielsen, who established the club at a meeting held at Risskov Badehotel, where 70 new members joined the club. The Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) is an 8-bit third-generation home video game console produced by Nintendo. It was first released in Japan in 1983 as the commonly known as the The NES, a redesigned version, was released in American test markets on October 18, 1985, before becoming widely available in North America and other countries. After developing a series of successful arcade games in the early 1980s, Nintendo planned to create a home video game console. VSK Aarhus
Vejlby Skovbakken Aarhus (; commonly known as VSK Aarhus) is a Danish football club based in Risskov, a neighbourhood in Aarhus. The club was founded in 2016 when the football departments of Vejlby IK Fodbold and Idrætsklubben Skovbakken decided to merge. Skovbakken is a major multi-sport club who besides football also compete in basketball, handball, badminton, tennis, and volleyball, with many honours won in these departments. The 2nd Division ( da, Danmarksturneringens 2. division or Herre-DM 2. division) is a semi-professional association football league for men and the third division in Denmark. It is organised by the Divisionsforeningen on behalf of the Danish Football Association (Danish FA; DBU) as part of the nation-wide Danmarksturneringen i fodbold (Herre-DM) and is positioned between the second-tier 1st Division and the fourth-tier Danish 3rd Division in the Danish football league system. Clubs in the league must meet certain criteria concerning appropriate facilities and finances. All of the 2nd Division clubs qualify for the proper rounds of the DBU Pokalen. Jutland Series
Jutland Series ( da, Jyllandsserien, JS, Herre Jyllandsserien) is the highest division for men organized by the regional association DBU Jylland and one of the fifth-highest divisions overall in the Danish football league system. The Jutland Association Football Championship ( da, Jyllandsmesterskabet, JM) was introduced in 1902. At the introduction of the championship, the tournament was placed at the top of the Danish football league system, but has since been moved to its current status as the fifth best level in Danish football, after a short period as the sixth best level, below the Denmark Series at the fourth level. Mikkel Kirkeskov
Mikkel Kirkeskov Andersen (born 5 September 1991) is a Danish professional footballer who plays as a left-back for Ekstraklasa club Zagłębie Lubin. Career AGF Kirkeskov was born in Aarhus, Denmark, and started playing football for VRI before joining the youth ranks of the city's main team, AGF in 2005. He was promoted to their first team in the spring of 2009. He made his league debut for AGF in the second tier of Danish football in a 3–0 away victory against FC Fredericia on 7 November 2010, replacing Adam Eckersley at half-time. After the winter break, Kirkeskov made more appearances and the club reached promotion back to the Danish Superliga towards the end of the season. Peter Graulund
Peter Graulund (born 20 September 1976) is a Danish former professional footballer who played as a striker. He played for Danish clubs Vejle Boldklub, Brøndby IF and AGF, German side VfL Bochum, and Swedish club Helsingborgs IF. He played six games and scored two goals for the Denmark national under-21 football team. Graulund was a fan favourite at AGF, not only because of his goal scoring abilities, but also due to his notorious fighting spirit. He was considered to be one of the best strikers in the Danish Superliga and is seventh on the list of top goalscorers all-time in the league. Martin Jørgensen
Lars Martin Jørgensen (; born 6 October 1975) is a Danish former professional footballer played as a midfielder or defender. He works as talent manager for AGF. Jørgensen amassed 102 caps and scored 12 goals for the Denmark national team. He is the only player that has represented Denmark at three FIFA World Cups. He has also played at two European Championship tournaments. After Denmark's elimination from the 2010 World Cup, Jørgensen announced his retirement from the national team. Artificial turf is a surface of synthetic fibers made to look like natural grass. It is most often used in arenas for sports that were originally or are normally played on grass. However, it is now being used on residential lawns and commercial applications as well. The main reason is maintenanceartificial turf stands up to heavy use, such as in sports, and requires no irrigation or trimming. Domed, covered, and partially covered stadiums may require artificial turf because of the difficulty of getting grass enough sunlight to stay healthy.
