Mikkel Kirkeskov
Mikkel Kirkeskov Andersen (born 5 September 1991) is a Danish professional footballer who plays as a left-back for Ekstraklasa club Zagłębie Lubin. Career AGF Kirkeskov was born in Aarhus, Denmark, and started playing football for VRI before joining the youth ranks of the city's main team, AGF in 2005. He was promoted to their first team in the spring of 2009. He made his league debut for AGF in the second tier of Danish football in a 3–0 away victory against FC Fredericia on 7 November 2010, replacing Adam Eckersley at half-time. After the winter break, Kirkeskov made more appearances and the club reached promotion back to the Danish Superliga towards the end of the season. He made his debut in the top tier on 15 August 2011 in a 1–1 away draw against Silkeborg IF, coming off the bench in the 80th minute for Stephan Petersen. Aarhus Gymnastikforening
Aarhus Gymnastikforening (; commonly known as AGF ), is a professional sports club based in Aarhus, Jutland, Denmark. Founded in 1880, it is one of the oldest clubs in the country and gymnastics and fencing are featured as its main sports. The UEFA Europa League (abbreviated as UEL, or sometimes, UEFA EL), formerly the UEFA Cup, is an annual football club competition organised since 1971 by the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) for eligible European football clubs. 2011–12 Danish Superliga
The 2011–12 Danish Superliga season was the 22nd season of the Danish Superliga, which decided the Danish football championship. The season began on with OB, the previous season's runners-up playing the cup winners FC Nordsjælland. It concluded on with six simultaneous matches. F.C. Copenhagen were the defending champions, having won their ninth league championship and third consecutively last season. Since Denmark climbed from fifteenth to twelfth place in the UEFA association coefficient rankings at the end of the 2010–11 season, the 2011–12 league champions entered directly the group stage of the UEFA Champions League instead of having to compete in the qualifying rounds. 2010–11 Danish 1st Division
The 2010–11 Danish 1st Division season was the 15th season of the Danish 1st Division league championship, governed by the Danish Football Association. It is set to start on 6 August 2010 with the recently relegated HB Køge facing off against last season's eighth-place finisher FC Fyn. The final matches of the season are scheduled for 29 May 2011. This will be the last season with a sixteen-club First Division. As only one team will be promoted from the Second Divisions, the league will be reduced to fourteen teams from the next season and eventually to twelve teams in the following season (2012–13), switching to the same system as the Superliga with three round-robin rounds and two relegation spots. In professional association football, a free transfer, also known as a Bosman transfer, involves a professional association football club releasing a player when the player's contract has expired or made available just before the end of the contract. The player can then go on to sign for any club offering a contract to them. How it works The club acquiring the player does not have to pay any compensation for their release due to having nothing left to pay on their contract, hence, the term free transfer. Some individual leagues have restrictions to protect academies. Eliteserien () is a Norwegian professional league for association football clubs. At the top of the Norwegian football league system, it is the country's primary football competition. Stephan Petersen (born 15 November 1985) is a Danish retired professional footballer who played as a winger. Career Born in Frederiksberg, Petersen made his senior debut for Køge Boldklub in 2003 before moving to Nordsjælland two years later, on 9 July 2005, at the age of 19. He made his debut shortly after, on 20 July, in a match against SønderjyskE. Already after half a year in Nordsjælland, Petersen signed a four-year contract extension with the club until the end of 2009. Petersen signed with AGF on a free transfer on 1 January 2010. He played at AGF for seven years, in which he totalled 235 appearances and scored 35 goals. Petersen joined Silkeborg IF on 1 July 2017. Silkeborg Idrætsforening, (; commonly known as Silkeborg IF or SIF in short) is a professional football club based in Silkeborg, Denmark.
