Veer Union
The Veer Union is a Canadian rock band from Vancouver, British Columbia. They have released four studio albums, '' Time to Break the Spell'' (2006), '' Against the Grain'' (2009),'' Divide the Blackened Sky'' (2012), and an EP ''Life Support Part 1'' (2013). Their fourth studio album, ''Decade'', was released on January 29, 2016. Divide The Blackened Sky
''Divide the Blackened Sky'' is the third album from hard rock band The Veer Union (albeit only the second one under their current name, as their first album, '' Time to Break the Spell'', was recorded when they were known as simply "Veer"). The majority of the album was self-produced, written and recorded by the band. Lyrically, the album focuses on the band struggling with and overcoming adversity, namely, being dropped from their major record label contract after their prior album, '' Against the Grain''. One single from the album, "Bitter End", was released in March 2012. Framing Hanley is an American rock band formed in Nashville, Tennessee in 2005. They released their first studio album in August 2007, titled ''The Moment''. History Formation and ''The Moment'' (2005–2009) Lead singer & songwriter Kenneth Nixon, guitarists Tim Huskinson and Brandon Wooten, bassist Luke McDuffee and drummer Chris Vest came together to form Framing Hanley and quickly gained a large following in Nashville. Cavo is an American hard rock band from St. Louis, Missouri. Because of their sound and musical influences, they are sometimes classified as post-grunge. Band history In late 2000, guitarist Chris Hobbs, bassist Ryan Kemp, and drummer Chad La Roy were searching for a vocalist for their band. With input from close friends Scott Gertken and Rich Criebaum of Modern Day Zero, the three auditioned then-unknown singer Casey Walker. By March 2001, Walker joined the band, and they adopted the name "Hollow". Soon after, Mike "Tomas" Tomasovich joined Hollow as a second guitarist. Hurt was an American rock band formed in Virginia in 2000. The band has released four major label albums. The band first released the independent albums ''Hurt'' in 2000 and ''The Consumation'' in 2003.
