Veenavaadanam
''Veenaavaadanam'' is an experimental Indian documentary film entirely shot in a cell phone camera in Malayalam language duration with 28.23 minutes'. The documentary released in 2008 and Nokia N70 music edition mobile phone was used for the film and it is now considered as the first Indian movie which shot on a cell phone camera. Sathish Kalathil is the Writer and director of the movie. Plot The documentary narrates about world paintings and painters through a conversation with a painter, Sujith Aalungal and introduce his 'Veenaavaadanam' painting. Crew The documentary was Produced by Kalathil Creative Heads and edited in S And S Media, Chennai by Vahid Kochukadavu and Sathish Kalathil. Sathish Kalathil
Sathish Kalathil is an Indian film and documentary director and producer in Malayalam. He is also story writer, and lyricist. His experimental works are well known and appropriately discussed in Malayalam Cinema industry and his debut movie Jalachhayam (2010) was well discussed according to its experimental approach. His first film was Veenavaadanam (2008), an experimental documentary about art (painting). The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) is a statutory film-certification body in the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting of the Government of India. It is tasked with "regulating the public exhibition of films under the provisions of the Cinematograph Act 1952." The Cinematograph Act 1952 outlines a strict certification process for commercial films shown in public venues. Films screened in cinemas and on television may only be publicly exhibited in India after certification by the board and edited.
