Vasilis Dimitriadis
Vasilis Dimitriadis ( el, Βασίλης Δημητριάδης; born 1 February 1966) is a Greek former professional footballer who played as a striker. Club career Dimitriadis started his professional career at Aris in 1986. In 1991 Dimitriadis changed the yellow shirt of Aris for the yellow-black of AEK Athens by signing a 2-year contract, on a transfer that cost over 100 million drachmas. The team from Thessaloniki got about 95 million and the income of two friendly matches between the two teams, in one which Dimitriadis scored. Dimitriadis was also a target of PAOK with their then president, Thomas Voulinos, had offered 105 million plus the goalkeeper Gitsioudis, but the bad relations between the two teams of Thessaloniki and the quick moves of Kostas Generakis did not allow that move to happen. Vassilis Dimitriadis (born 22 August 1978 in Belgium) is a retired Alpine skiing, alpine ski racer from Greece and the former Head coach of Greek National Ski Team. He competed for Greece at the Greece at the 1998 Winter Olympics, 1998 Winter Olympics, Greece at the 2002 Winter Olympics, 2002 Winter Olympics, Greece at the 2006 Winter Olympics, 2006 Winter Olympics and the Greece at the 2010 Winter Olympics, 2010 Winter Olympics. 1992–93 Greek Football Cup
The 1992–93 Greek Football Cup was the 51st edition of the Greek Football Cup. Tournament details Totally 72 teams participated, 18 from Alpha Ethniki, 18 from Beta, and 36 from Gamma. It was held in 6 rounds, included final. Without particular surprises, minus the elimination of Aris in the Group stage by Ethnikos Piraeus and Paniliakos, teams of lower divisions, the three big teams of Attica qualified easily or with difficulty to semi-finals. In that round, Olympiacos eliminated AEK Athens, the season's champions, after two very interesting matches, with qualification to be judged in extra time. Panathinaikos had easier work against Apollon Athens. In the Final, that was held in Olympic Stadium, Panathinaikos managed to win their ''eternal'' opponent by 1–0, opening the street for a line of three possessed wins of the Cup. The 1995–96 Greek Football Cup was the 54th edition of the Greek Football Cup. Tournament details Totally 72 teams participated, 18 from Alpha Ethniki, 18 from Beta, and 36 from Gamma. It was held in 6 rounds, included final. AEK Athens won the cup after 13 years, shattering in the Final 7–1 Apollon Athens, that reached for first and only time a Greek Cup Final.
